Brian Conley is being treated in hospital after his shock withdrawal from I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The comedian's wife Anne-Marie and their daughters Amy, 15, and Lucy, 10, were spotted looking 'worried' after visiting him at the Tweed Hospital in Tweed Heads, New South Wales on Tuesday morning.

The TV star, 51, was forced to quit the ITV reality show on Monday after falling ill and was taken to hospital 30 miles away from the jungle-set in Springbrook National Park, Queensland.

Neither the Conley family or ITV have commented on the nature of his illness, although a spokeswoman for the Tweed Hospital confirmed to the Evening Standard that he was a patient.

The Conley family were spotted being picked up in a people carrier after flying into Brisbane airport on Tuesday.

An ITV spokesperson said on Monday: 'Brian Conley has left the jungle due to medical reasons.

'We will miss him in camp and wish him well.'

Brian's departure came after he was seen entertaining his fellow campers by dancing with Ashley Roberts.

His departure comes just days after viewers of the ITV1 show saw him break down in tears after a confrontation with the heavyweight champion of the world.

Brian's row with the boxer sparked after David flicked two burning logs on to the forest floor.

But they soon made up after talking through the altercation.

Following his departure, celebrities have taken to Twitter to send the comedian get well soon wishes.

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly tweeted: 'Hope Brian Conley is ok.'

News anchor Eamonn Holmes wrote: 'Poor Brian.'

Brian is the first to leave the jungle, although the first public eviction will be on Wednesday night.
