A few months ago they were at school or stacking shelves at Asda.
In a plot which could have been plucked straight from one of its films, the X Factor finalists went from rags to riches as they performed in front of an packed audience at Disneyland Paris.
Even Rylan Clark appeared stage struck as he took performed a Spice Girl medley before the audience of 1,200 to celebrate Disneyland paris' 20th anniversary.
Toned down: Rylan left his Union Flag trousers at home for his performance at Disneyland Paris
The 23-year-old stormed the stage screaming to fans: 'Alright Disney, I think we need to have a bit of fun tonight! I loved the Spice Girls! Cheers, Disney-see you later!
He added: 'I can't believe I forgot to wear a belt!'
Next it was the turn of boy band Union J, who narrowly avoided leaving the competition last week, but the crowds were certainly impressed by the foppish four.
Jamie Hamblett, 24, George Shelley 19, Josh Cuthbert 20, Jaymi Hensley 22, impressed the crowd by singing Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love onstage.
A taste of things to come Union J sung Bleeding Love to crowds on Tuesday evening
Favourite character: Ella Henderson opted for mini Minnie Mouse headdress while Rylan paid homage to… Rylan
Dreams can come true: Union J at their first performance out of the X Factor competition
George said: 'Thank you so much, that's the first time we have performed outside the X Factor so it's such an amazing feeling.'
Ella Henderson was up next, wearing her favourite Minnie Mouse ears and matching gloves, she blasted out Katy Perry's Firework.
Throughout the screaming crowds she said: 'It has been amazing, I have loved it here. It is like being in a fairytale!'
Singing his heart out: Jahmene Douglas impressed crowds with his voice in Disneyland
A Whole New World: Christopher Maloney was the only contestant to sing a Disney song onstage
He's our very own Robin Hood: James Arthur told crowds it was lovely to perform at Disneyland Paris
She also got to meet Cinderella and Ariel. Apparently she's a huge Minnie Mouse fan.
Christopher Maloney sang A Whole New World- the only finalist to sing a Disney solo track.
He said: 'Can I just say, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, giving me this opportunity to sing today has been amazing.
A bit of magic! The finalists performed infront of the Disneyland castle in Paris
Stuff dreams are made of! This definitely beats the X Factor stage (and Dermot is nowhere to be seen)
'If you had told me 10 months ago that I would be singing at Disney, in front of the castle, to celebrate the 20th anniversary I really wouldn't have believed it. Thank you so much for all your amazing support.'
And last but not least Caroline Flack told crowds: 'We have had the most amazing day here so thank you so much.'
All the contestants then came back on with the Disney characters: Jahmene Douglas with Donald Duck. James Arthur with Goofy. Union J with the chipmunks. Rylan with pluto, ella with Minnie Mouse and Christopher Maloney with Mickey.
