Britney Spears is proving to be quite the femme fatale before the second season of X Factor USA has even started.
The squabbles between the judges and their categories are yet to commence, but the Toxic star is showing rival castmate Devi Lovato that when it comes to the fashion stakes, she's a clear winner.
As the line-up for the second series of the reality show was unveiled today, it seems the mother-of-two couldn't decided which dress to wear, so opted for two to maximise column inches.

During today's photocall in New York,
Britney posed in a figure-hugging strapped white dress with Demi, Simon
Cowell and L.A. Reid for an intimate snap which she tweeted online.
However, during the official snaps
taken against the backdrop of a Fox curtain, the Crossroads actress had
changed into a slick burgundy frock as she posed next to head judge Cowell.

Demi, on the other hand, was seen
wearing the same dress on two separate Kodak moments. However, credit
where it's due, she was a little more experimental in her spiderweb
pattern gown.
Today, Hollywood's worst kept secret was finally confirmed.
Britney, 30, has officially joined the judging panel along with Disney star Demi, 19.

Simon could barely hide his delight, tweeting: 'Can't believe it's finally happened. Very exciting!'
While no details as to how much
Demi's contract is worth have been leaked, Britney is thought to have
negotiated a $15 million pay packet to be a panellist on the show.

year's debut series – sitting alongside show boss Simon and music
executive L.A.
The Baby One More Time star said: 'I am so excited about this whole experience. It's gonna be so much fun
and so different from anything I've ever done and I'm ready to find the
true star.'

Clearly excited, Demi added: 'I am totally stoked to be here.'
The news was announced at Fox's Upfront Presentation at the Beacon Theatre in the Big Apple.
Britney said in a statement: 'I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out.'

A new host for the show has yet to be announced after Steve Jones was axed after just one series.
