She admitted she was 'gutted' after having to pull out of The X Factor due to illness.
But Lucy Spraggan would have no doubt been spurred on by her best friend on the show, Rylan Clark, who paid tribute to her as he took to the stage on Saturday night.
The camp Essex lad was mid-way through his rendition of Madonna's track Hung Up when he shouted out: 'This one's for you Spraggan, I love you.'

Dermot O'Leary explained that Lucy had decided that it would not be fair to accept another free pass through to next week and because she wasn't well enough to perform she had decided to pull out of the competition.
The presenter then asked Lucy's mentor Tulisa Contostavlos to say a few words.
Tulisa said: 'She's just an amazing person to work with. I'm going to miss her very much. We are still in touch, this is not the end of Lucy or the last you are going to see of her … big big things to come. I just want to send her all my love.'
Very sad: Tulisa Contostavlos said she disappointed to see Lucy out but would continue to be friends with her and told fans to expect big things for the songwriter
Meanwhile, industry insiders are predicting the talented songwriter could land a record deal within weeks with the help of her X Factor mentor.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: 'Lucy has a massive fan base from her time on the show and with Tulisa’s help the world is her oyster.
'Tulisa is still selling records and topping the charts, so will be able to help Lucy make it as a pop star.'
After Lucy announced she would be leaving the show on Saturday, Tulisa vowed to continue to mentor her throughout her career.
She said: 'I’m so sorry to lose Lucy from the
competition, I have had a brilliant time working with her and I hope I
can continue to mentor her in the future.
'I now count her as a friend as
she is an amazing girl and I am sure she is heading for great things.'

All over: The Tea and Toast hitmaker didn't feel right about accepting another free pass
According to The Sun
newspaper, Lucy is now being comforted by her girlfriend Harriet Lichfield, who
flew back to Britain from Thailand where she has been teaching.
And while she has had to quit the show, the paper reports that she has already made 50,000 from her original music on iTunes.
She is also said to have been
presented with a series of lucrative offers and will be represented by
Quest Management, who count Sir Paul McCartney among its clients.
Ahead of the show Lucy explained her departure with a statement.
The 21-year-old hopeful admitted she was 'gutted' to be bowing out of the ITV1 show, but explained she didn't think it would be fair on her fellow competitors to have another 'free pass' for Saturday night's show.
Lucy said: 'I am gutted not to be able to continue on this journey but I'm not well enough to perform.
'To accept another free pass having missed last weekend would not be fair on the others in the competition. I wish them all well.
'I would like to express my thanks to everyone who has supported me. There is no way that this setback will prevent me from fulfilling my ambition. You'll be hearing from me again very soon.'
An X Factor spokesperson added: 'Lucy isn't well enough to perform this weekend so she has decided to withdraw from the competition.
'We are all sorry to see her go and wish her all the best for the future. She has been a fantastic contestant.'
