Embarrassment for Tulisa as N-Dubz bandmate Dappy in foulmouthed tirade against Simon Cowell and X Factor
He left N-Dubz bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos stunned when he laid into her television show The X Factor earlier this year.
Now Dappy is set to cause even more embarrassment for 23-year-old Tulisa, after slamming the ITV programme just hours after she won the competition with girl group Little Mix.
And to add insult to injury, the singer who took to the stage at the Academy 2 in Manchester told the audience “F*** Cowell at the solo gig on Sunday night.
New controversy: Dappy has come forward to once again slam The X Factor, just hours after his N-Dubz bandmate Tulisa was named the winning judge
It had all started so well. Dappy kicked things off by congratulating Tulisa on her victory.
But he then told fans: “Thisis what fame is, not standing for hours outside to audition for X Factor”, before launching into his new single Rockstar, which features Queen guitarist Brian May.
Dappy continued his tirade against Cowell saying “F*** Simon Cowell”.
Victory: Tulisa with Little Mix as they were crowned the champions of The X Factor on Sunday night
Perhaps the diminutive star was still smarting after he and bandmate Fazer were banned from appearing on the show as mentors alongside their bandmate.
He said: “We wanted to go on the X Factor to be with Tulisa on judges” houses but the people who own it thought we were too much of a gamble, that we wasn”t right.
“I”m devastated they don”t think we”re capable of going on there and helping her.
Pulling no punches: Dappy, seen here in Birmingham last week, was also said to have angered fans by only playing in Manchester for 25 minutes
“Simon, I”m coming for you, bro. I don”t care, I don”t give two s**** – you”ve made a big mistake, man.
“Watch your back, Simon! I”m gonna get hits and No.1 singles and show you!”
Meanwhile, fans at Dappy”s gig were left unimpressed after he played for a mere 25 minutes.
Insults: Dappy was less than complimentary with his comments about Cowell, seen here earlier last week
Aconcertgoer told the Manchester Evening News: “As the crowd dispersed there were lots of angry fans left wondering aloud what exactly they’d paid their 15 entry for.
“He might have been cursing Simon Cowell, but there were a fair few people cursing Dappy at the end of the night.”
