Revealed: Will Smith was arrested in 1989 in connection with an attack which almost blinded victim
It has been revealed that in 1989 Will Smith was arrested over an alleged vicious assault which took place in Philadelphia.
According to reports, Smith – who at the time of the arrest was 20 – was involved in an argument which resulted in a man almost losing sight in one eye.
The charges against the 44-year-old actor, which were later dismissed, included aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

But on Wednesday evening as Will Smith attended the listening party for rapper Meek Mill's debut album, the actor didn't look so fresh.
The 44-year-old rapper appeared to be trying too hard to fit in with the crowd at Electric Lady Studio in New York which saw guest including Jay-Z and Rick Ross.

Covering up his grey hair, Smith wore a red 76ers snap-back which he opted to wear to the side.
Throwing up a peace-sign as he posed for photographers, the I Am Legend star stood in a pair of jeans, a navy and denim jacket which he teamed with a hoodie.
Will completed his look with a pair of powder blue suede trainers and was seen liaising with the Watch The throne rapper and hit-maker The Dream.

And keeping his accessorises to a minimal, the father-of-one, who is married to songstress Beyonc, wore a small linked silver chain.
Showing off his style, Rick Ross, 36, wore a reptile print jumper with a pair of gold and black rimmed sunglasses as he sat at his table counting money.

Meek Mill, real name Robert Williams, is an American rapper artist signed to Rick Ross' label Maybach Music group.
The 25-year-old's highly anticipated debut album Dreams & Nightmares is out October 30, and features collaborative tracks with the likes of John Legend, Mary J. Blige and Nas.
In June, Meek was alleged to be involved in an altercation between Chris Brown and Drake which took place in WiP nightclub in New York and left several people injured.
