'Goodbye mum': Wicksy makes surprise return to EastEnders as he pays respects to Pat Evans
It's been 22 years since he last graced Albert Square.
But tonight, Simon Wicks, aka Wicksy, returned to Walford to pay his respects at late mother Pat Evans' graveside.
In a 15-second cameo, which was only filmed by actor Nicky Berry on Thursday night, Wicksy simply said: 'Goodbye Mum.'

Fans of the soap had been warned to stay tuned until after the credit roled to see a 'surprise' return to the screen from an old favourite.
As the credits rolled over Pat's grave, a dark figure came out of the shadows.
He then crept down beside her floral tributes and said goodbye with tears glistening in his eyes under the moonlight.

End of an era: Wicksy missed the funeral of his late mother Pat Evans (Pam St Clement)
With his difficult relationship with his brother David and other Walford residents, perhaps Wicksy decided against attending the funeral earlier that day.
Berry, who has now retired from acting, only filmed the scene on Thursday night, with the BBC still editing the scene earlier today.
Wicksy return came after his brother David (Michael French) has spent the past two weeks in Walford and witnessing his mother's death.
Before her demise, Pat (Pam St Clements) had been heard telling stepson Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen) to phone Wicksy in New Zealand to tell him she was ill.
But unfortunately for Pat, her youngest son didn't make it back to England in time to say goodbye.
The BBC said Berry's appearance on the show would be a 'one-off'.
The character of Wicksy was last seen on-screen in 1990 when he fled the square with Cindy Beale following their affair behind her then-husband Ian's back.
