They have been the talk of X Factor, with millions wondering if Ella Henderson and Union J's George Shelley have fallen in love.
And as the competition heats up on the X Factor the 16-year-old talent from Grimsby has revealed all about those romance rumours and how a duet with Beyonce could be dangerous for her health.
Ella, who was about to start sixth form when she secured a place on X Factor is keen to dispel any romance or showmance rumours.
Just good friends: Ella Henderson maintains her and Union J George Shelley are the best of friends and nothing more
Speaking to Fabulous magazine she protests curly-haired George is not her boyfriend but her best friend.
'We've got a lot in common, we're in synch with one another. You don't come into this competition or this kind of show to make a friend for life and stuff but with certain people I think I've found that and its really nice', the singer gushed.
Ella, who has been singing since she was a toddler, said she remained firmly focused on the competition in hand but will never turn into a diva.
Just lovely: Ella has her sights firmly focused on doing her best on X Factor, pictured last night performing Tine Tempah's A Million Miles Away
The songstress, who impressed the judges with her very first audition when she sang her own composition, revealed her mum still has the power to ground her.
And she added she refuses to change her behaviour and is taking the competition week by week, although when asked about the possibility of dueting with Beyonce in the final week, the teenager screams: 'If Beyonce walked into the room, I'd probably faint. Seriously. I would faint.'
Watch out for the pitching: Union J's rendition of Coldplay's Fix You went down pretty well
This evening Ella is the last girl act standing and one of the youngest in the competition, but refuses ti succumb to the pressure.
She simply says: 'Everyone says that I am an old spirit trapped in a young girls body.'
Ella Henderson made Tinie Tempah's rap song A Million Miles Away sound acoustic.
Judge Louis Walsh told her: 'You're an old soul trapped in a young person's body. You're the best girl we've had since Leona Lewis. I think you are fantastic.'
