Showing off a pair of Chuck Taylors, Keirnan admits: 'I'm so obsessed with converse. These are my favourite because they're kind of purplish, but just the right amount of purple'.
The 12-year-old, who, as she corrects Ms Brown is actually '12 and a half', explains what drives her fashion force as an adolescent.
Enviable closet: Showing off her Oscar de la Renta Kids coat, the Emma Watson look-a-like loves fashion
Go-go: The star proudly grabs a pair of white Sally draper's back-up go-go boots, a symbol of her character's coming adulthood during Mad Men's fifth season, which she got to keep
Fashion statement: When Sally draper walked out in knee high go-go boots, it was a discerning turning point for the young character
She says: 'It kind of started by going
to fashion websites and blogs, and flicking through magazines. My style
kind of changes throughout the years.'
Interrupting her, Ms Brown quips: 'From like age nine to ten, that was big change. And five to eight, that was crazy! Right'

Dress maker: The 12-year-old also makes her own dresses from vintage patterns, and loves discovering vintage finds from fabric stores
Flat footed: From Converse to Chanel, the star loves a nice pair of flat ankle boots
Keirnan giggles nervously, and agrees with a 'right', before moving on to topics she feels really passionate about.

She offers: 'I don't know if you
remember the Mad Men episode when Sally Draper tried to wear go-go
boots, it was a scandal, but these were her back up go-go boots which I
was lucky enough to keep.'
She also reveals that she loves Jimmy Fallon, saying: 'I got to be on his show and I got this top which I love.'
'Do you think he's dreamy' Ms Brown asks. Keirnan replies: 'Well, I just think he's funny.'
Ms Brown decides that funny can be dreamy, but Keirnan, wearing a printed peter pan collar top, gives her a deadpan looks and says: 'I'm 12 though!'
She reveals how Mad Men has shaped her thoughts on style, praising the show's costume designer for teaching her a willingness to experiment with fashion.
'Our costume designer, Janie Bryant, is definitely a visionary. She's awesome!' she exclaims.
'She puts outfits together so well. You'll put on a an outfit, a dress, some shoes, and she'll say, “No, its not quite right”. She'll go to the other side of the room and pick up a different pair of socks and a coat from over there, and she just makes outfits work.'
'I most admire people who aren't afraid what people are going to think,' she added, 'and really just rock it even though its kind of crazy. I tend to respect that more than someone that just plays it safe. For instance I would look like a clown in Willow Smith's clothes but I think she looks amazing in them, and she rocks them so much, so I love her style.'
She also admire Helena Bonham Carter, because she makes her own headbands.
'Isn't it so awesome how she makes her own headbands I think that's so cool.'
