Sexy couture: Versace launches Couture Fashion Week in Paris with chic and revealing dress collection

Versace kicked off Paris Couture Fashion Week with a much-anticipated catwalk show which showcased the Italian fashion house's autumn-winter collection.
Stars including Christina Hendricks, Milla Jovovich and Jessica Alba lined the front row at the Ritz Hotel in Paris to see the new designs which included floaty long evening gowns and bodycon mini dresses.
The designs were all chic and sexy with cinched in, mainly
corseted bodices, in metallic gold rose, blush and purple. The longer length evening gowns had billowing chiffon which exposed the catwalk models' long legs – and almost caused some of them to trip up as the cascading material caught on their heels. The figure-hugging mini dresses included patterned and embellished designs in pastel shades.
Donatella Versace made an appearance on the catwalk herself wearing a black embellished bodycon number and sky high heels. The show's location was a poignant one for her as the Ritz in Paris was the last place she saw her late brother Gianni. He staged his last runway show there shortly before his murder in Miami in 1997.
But on Sunday, Donatella ensured there was no room for mourning. Instead, her couture was a bejewelled celebration of a house with buoyant revenues – such is the cost of her couture collection that only the richest women in the world will be able to afford them. The creations range in price from $19,000 (12,000) to $125,000 (80,000).
