Cher Lloyd walks off stage at V Festival after a reveller throws bottle of urine at her

Former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd walked off the stage in disgust after a reveller threw a bottle of urine at her during her set at the V Festival on Sunday.
The teenage singer was only into her second song at the Chelmsford, Essex, festival when the incident occurred.
Clearly upset, the 19-year-old fled the stage to compose herself, but decided to return and resume her performance.

Cher's management advised her to halt
the gig for her safety, but she was determined not to disappoint those
in the crowd who did want to see her.
she came back, she told the crowd at Hylands Park: 'It's hard enough
being up here, but it's not nice having bottles of p**s chucked at you.'

However after more bottles were thrown, it was decided to end her set early.
A spokesman for Cher told the MailOnline: 'It's a real shame that a few individuals spoil the gig for all the other fans in the audience.'
She later took to her Twitter page to write: 'Thank you so much for all the nice messages, shame that a couple of
people had to ruin it, unfortunately a glass bottle got thrown at me on
stage.Tomorrow is another day,big love to my brats!!! Xx.'
Cher's Essex performance came a day after she sang at the other V Festival in Staffordshire.

Since leaping to fame in The X Factor in 2010, Cher has had a rocky experience with fame.
Many critics thought she shouldn't have been put through judges' houses after she broke down during her audition in front of Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am.
Despite the mixed reception to the young singer, she ended up in fourth place in the series, which was eventually won by Matt Cardle.
She has admitted being the recipient of cyber-bullying, even talking about her experiences on Panorama earlier this year.

said on the show: 'I must get at least ten tweets a day saying I'm a
dirty pikey. I think they know it's going to get to me, or because they
know they can.

I like to think people think I'm strong, because if they don't, then
they might not think I can do it… Some days I wish that people would
leave me alone for a bit and for there to be a hole to suck me in.
never thought I could talk to anybody about it because I didn't feel I
needed to as I was strong enough to get through it alone, but that's the
worst thing you can do.'

Also performing at Chelmsford today includes Pixie Lott, Rita Ora, Stooshe, Tom Jones, Olly Murs, The Killers and Snow Patrol.
Tulisa appeared on the main stage at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, just as a heavy rain shower began to fall.
The former N-Dubz singer wore a pink short-sleeved jacket, polka-dot corset and patterned trousers as she performed solo material, including her new single Live It Up.

As lightning struck, Tulisa – who
played the split-site's sister venue in Weston Park, Staffordshire, on
Saturday – told fans: 'Look at this British weather.'
The sun returned by the end of
Tulisa's set, however, as revellers enjoyed a second day of music at the
Virgin Media-sponsored festival.
Another female singer who took to the stage again was British star Rita Ora who showed off her curves in a blue latex Kim West dress which featured red fringe detail.

Meanwhile, rapper Tinie Tempah showed off his rarely-seen six pack as he performed a selection of his hits on the main stage
Also performing at the event, now in its 17th year, are Sir Tom Jones, Happy Mondays and Snow Patrol.
Las Vegas headlining band The Killers took to the stage tonight where frontman Brandon Flowers put on an enthusiastic performance which included playing the keyboard.

Also performing in Essex was Olly Murs, who was watched by his good friend and Xtra Factor co-host Caroline Flack.
A hoard of stars travelled from Essex to Staffordshire late last night to perform at the festival's other venue.
Among them was blonde singer Pixie Lott who wore a glittery mini dress and palm tree sunglasses to serenade the crowd, and former Oasis singer Noel Gallagher.

Liam Payne, minus band mate Zayn Malik.
