It's a prospect that strikes fear into the hearts of even the most seasoned presenters.

So for someone less than used to early morning starts, Tulisa Contostavlos looked remarkably cheery as she arrived for her last day hosting the Radio 1 breakfast show alongside Chris Moyles.

The 23-year-old star hid any bags that might have been lurking under her eyes behind a huge pair of sunglasses as she left the studio after four days of co-hosting the show.

Following her final show, Tulisa wrote on Twitter: 'Well that was a fun week on the @ChrisMoylesShow thanks for having me @CHRISDJMOYLES @BBCR1. Finally got my mornings back!'

Tulisa teamed her pink-rimmed sunglasses with a pastel-coloured coat and pretty sky-print dress with turquoise heels as she headed home from the studios.

During her time on the show this
morning, Tulisa confirmed that she will be returning to the judging
panel on The X Factor this year, although refused to reveal any more
details.

Meanwhile, the brunette star is set
to face more controversy with new revelations from her stepmother
Melanie Vondrau, who was married to Tulisa's father Plato until 2009,
set to emerge in a new tell-all book.

Claims about the new book come after Tulisa was left embarrassed after a private sex tape hit the internet.

A friend of Tulisa's told Now magazine: 'Tulisa's distraught that people close to her would choose to sell stories on her.

'This is yet another betrayal.
Melanie's spoken to the press before and Tulisa was really hurt and
upset. She doesn't expect anything more from that woman.'

Melanie previously came forward following the emergence of Tulisa's tape, slamming her stepdaughter.

She said at the time: 'The fact that she would even allow a tape like this just shows she doesn’t respect herself.

'A young girl who respects herself would choose her partner very wisely. She is clearly not making the right choices.'
