She's no wallflower! Tulisa continues her LA fashion parade in a skintight patterned minidress

She's been working hard on her debut solo album in Los Angeles.

But while most of Tulisa Contostavlos' time is being taken up in the studios, the X Factor judge is still finding time to ensure she looks picture perfect at all time.

The 23-year-old singer continued her Stateside fashion parade in a skintight patterned minidress as she headed to the recording studio yesterday afternoon.

Tulisa teamed the dress with a pair
of statement black peep-toe wedges and a black handbag, leaving her
brown hair loose around her shoulders.

The pretty brunette's daring outfit came just hours after she caused a stir in a plunging nautical-print Lipsy jumpsuit which clung to her feminine curves in all the right places.

Having landed in Tinseltown on Tuesday,
Tulisa has wasted no time in soaking up the rays in various
summery outfits, including a pair of denim shorts on Wednesday.

It's no surprise to see a smile on Tulisa's face considering she has just signed a three-book deal.

The first one will be an autobiography published later this year, followed by two novels.

Tulisa
said: 'I'm really excited to start work on these books. Having my
novels published is a dream come true for me. I'm also looking forward
to sharing my life story so far, I've got lots to tell.'

Deputy Publishing Director Sarah
Emsley
at Headline added: 'Tulisa is an incredibly talented writer and musician
and, as her mentoring of Little Mix on this year's X Factor has shown,
she is an inspiration for young women everywhere.

'Tulisa's story has incredible
breadth and depth for someone so young, and we are absolutely thrilled
that she has chosen Headline to be her publisher.'

Earlier this week, Tulisa confirmed she will be releasing a solo single in the next few months.

With her group N-Dubz on hiatus and her recent split from Fazer, it's the perfect time for Tulisa.

She told London radio station Capital FM: 'I've got my single ready now to release. I'm going to be shooting a video soon. Haven't got a set date but I'd say within the next two months definitely.'

And
despite singing urban songs with her N-Dubz band-mates Fazer and Dappy, Tulisa's solo sound will be a little
different.

She explained:
'It's very me but maybe not what people would expect genre-wise. It's
one of those tracks that you don't get bored of.'

Aside
from her solo work, Tulisa is rumoured to be duetting with her 'little
muffins' Little Mix on a track for their debut album.
