They rose to fame as the new cute young girl band on The X Factor last year.
But Little Mix showed at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday that they have certainly come of age – and their former mentor Tulisa Contostavlos was there to see the transformation in person.
The four girls arrived wearing various outfits, including Jesy Nelson in a skeleton mini-dress as she took to the red carpet.
Fancy seeing you here! A more grown up Little Mix bumped into their former X Factor
mentor Tulisa Contostavlos backstage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday
Little Minxes: The former X Factor stars took to the stage at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in sexy basketball style outfits to entertain the crowds
But when it was their turn to rock out on stage the girls set out to stun as they went for a sexier look.
The singers all dressed in black and white basketball outfits as they played their hits.
But rather than looking sporty the girls showed off their skin as they performed the energetic set.
Fierce: Little Mix's Jesy Nelson gave it her all as she bared her legs during the energetic routine
Working it: The girls impressed the audience as they wore their own co-ordinating black and white outfits
While Leigh-Anne Pinnock stunned in a cropped top to reveal her taut stomach, Jesy also showed off her legs in a pair of hot pants.
Jade also vamped up her style in her own co-ordinating outfit, as did Perrie Edwards in skintight trousers and her own belly on show.
And they even managed to bump into their former mentor Tulisa Contostavlos backstage at the event, who was there to present an award.
Ravishing in red: Tulisa went for a girly frock and heels with matching lipstick as she took to the stage during the star-studded evening
Ladylike: The TV judge stepped out in front of
the audience to present an award as she was joined by a number of X
Factor alumni at the show
Coming of age: The four girls owned the stage as they stunned in the outfits after changing out of their arrival get-ups
Star guest: Tulisa joined Radio 1 presenter Vernon Kay on stage as she stood out in her vibrant number while speaking into the mic
But rather than follow the girls' suit in their black outfits, Tulisa looked ravishing in a bright red frock and heels.
It was only a couple of hours earlier that the girl group was spotted arriving at the bash on Sunday afternoon.
Jesy got into the spirit of halloween early in her skeleton ensemble, which had a full set of ribs printed onto the front of it as she arrived at Wembley Arena.
Scary: Jesy Nelson covered her curves in a skeleton print dress as she joined Little Mix at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at Wembley Arena, on Sunday
The short dress was able to show off Jesy's skin and bones as she teamed the scary frock with a pair of studded ankle boots.
The dark haired singer was joined on the red carpet by her fellow band mates as the X Factor winning group made a grand entrance to the awards show.
Each of the girls displayed very different personalities through their dress sense as they showcased their varied style before then changing into their stage outfits.
Class act: The girls showed off their different personalities by dressing in very diverse styles
Too cool for school: One Direction made a welcome return to the awards as the headline act
Perrie Edwards, 19, was the most elegant member of the group in a tight fit sleeveless blue dress that fell right down to the floor.
Jade Thirlwall, 19, opted for an 80s style shirt dress that she kept under control by accessorising with a thin black belt as she wore her dark red hair down.
The chatty northerner also had on a pair of eye catching bright yellow peep-toe shoes that seemed a little too big for her with some considerable space ob her heel.
Boys will be boys: The chart toppers looked very dapper as they hit the red carpet in some considerable style
Prim and proper: The lads had all very obviously been styled for the show with not a single hair out of place
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 20, wore a similar style of shoe to Jade in silver and black but teamed them with a leg baring black cut out skirt.
While the girls have the biggest selling UK single this year with Wings, their boy band rivals seemed to get a better reception at the show.
One Direction looked as dapper as ever as they posed on the red carpet ahead of taking to the stage as the headline act.
Strike a pose: The always fashionable Jameela Jamil made the most of her time on the red carpet
Jameela Jamil, 26, made full use of her time on the red carpet by striking some photo shoot worthy poses before heading inside.
The model and TV presenter looked pretty in a short silver dress that was covered in sequins as she also wore a camouflage jacket.
