What's this A camera-shy TOWIE star! Make-up free Lauren Goodger hides from photographers at salon launch
'Reality' television used to be a warts-and-all look inside people's lives, with even actual celebrities such as Jessica Simpson and the Osbournes revealing what they look like under all the professional make-up, lighting and camera trickery.
Not so these days, with the cast of The Only Way Is Essex never appearing on camera without slathering themselves in fake tan and applying their false eyelashes and hair extensions.
So it was unsurprising that Lauren Goodger was horrified to arrive at her salon launch in Buckhurst Hill today to find photographers assembled before she had been primped and preened for the cameras.
Don't look at me! Lauren Goodger hides her face from photographers as she arrives at her salon launch today in Essex with wet hair and no make-up
The 24-year-old, who had wet hair and was make-up free, covered her face and dashed past the crowd of waiting fans into the store.
Despite some eager fans waiting for over three hours for a glimpse of Lauren, the reality star insisted on having her hair and make-up perfect before venturing out again.
She tweeted from inside: 'In my salon sorry for everyone queing (sic) outside won't be long guys and we can all do pictures and signings x x x'

Once ready, Lauren emerged again and happily posed up a storm for photographers.
She looked great despite revealing on Twitter that she has been suffering with the flu all week, and feared that she wouldn't be able to make it to the salon opening.
Perhaps feeling under the weather was her reason for not wanting to be photographed au naturel, although venturing out in the winter cold with wet hair probably wasn't her wisest move.

Unlike Lauren, Chloe and Frankie were fine with photographers capturing them looking far more natural than usual.
