We only learned about her split from Ricky Rayment on Wednesday's episode of The Only Way Is Essex, but it seems that Jessica Wright is ready to embrace the single life again.

The brunette was spotted on a night out in Brentwood with fellow TOWIE stars Sam and Billie Faiers on Thursday.

And the reality star seemed to enjoy her first girl's night out as a single lady as she was seen having a laugh with her friends.

The star was dressed up to the nines for the trip to the pub.

Wearing a short black playsuit with stiletto's and an eye-catching gold necklace, Jessica didn't seem at all bothered by the cold October evening.

Perhaps she was feeling the warmth of the wine she had shared with the girls, as she stepped out of the Slug and Lettuce pub without a coat, scarf or tights, despite the Baltic weather.

The star seemed cheerful and happy on the outing, donning a smile from ear to ear, and didn't appear to be mourning the loss of her relationship too much.

And the star certainly won't have to worry about getting any male attention.

On Wednesday's episode of TOWIE, Jessica and Ricky broke up after deciding they both wanted 'different things' from the relationship.

The couple got into an argument after Jessica went on a rare night out with her female pals, and Ricky joined her in the bar at the end of their evening.

She told him: 'I am upset,' after arguing that he's been moaning about not seeing his male pal Little Chris enough, despite not trying to spend more time with her.

Ricky then openly stated to a teary Jessica: 'I think we're in different places. I wanted a relationship, but I didn't want this relationship.

'I thought I was ready but I'm not mentally ready to be there all the time. I don't think I'm ready for that.'

Jess then protested that she wanted to have a fun relationship, to which Rayment argued: 'We're not having fun'.

Having the final word, Wright then told her partner before running to the toilets in tears: 'There's not much more to say. We want different things. Your idea of a relationship is different to mine.'

Jess took to Twitter to talk to her fans bout the episode, and apologised for her emotional appearance.

'Fyi. I absolutely hate myself when I cry!!!! So cringe and annoying and ming! Apologies,' she wrote.
