Fashion forward brand Topshop is not known for its services to the plus-size market, but it does love to follow trends and is now jumping on the shapewear bandwagon just in time for the party season.

The four piece collection which lands today is the high street store's first ever body sculpting line and it's a sure sign that shapewear is now a wardrobe staple for women of all shapes and sizes, not just curvy girls.

Magic knickers and streamlining slips have been embraced by young women as a way to make the most out of this season's bodycon outfits.

Topshop is just one of the high street brands to introduce new or improved shapewear offerings this season as slim celebrities including the X Factor's Tulisa are seen enjoying the benefits of secret support.

The new range consists of a black slip dress, high-waisted knickers, a
pencil skirt and long-line shorts all featuring a peek-a-boo fishnet
panelling.

Available in small, medium and large the capsule collection is made using premium microfibre, a super
elasticated material which is describes as 'seamless and discreet' designed to be the perfect accessory to this season's LBD.

shapewear technology means that women can streamline their silhouette
without being embarrassed by their underwear and the latest lingerie
