Casual Tuesday: The Saturdays have a dressed down day as they head to dance rehearsals
7:46 PM on 17th May 2011
We”re used to seeing members of The Saturdays looking glam and stylish.
But as they prepare for their first live performance of their new single Notorious, the girl group have been uncharacteristically dressed down for dance rehearsals.
The group were spotted looking ready to sweat in T-shirts and tracksuit bottoms as they arrived at a London studio earlier today.
Casual Tuesday: The Saturdays bandmembers (L-R) Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White return from their lunch break at a London studio
While Una Healy, 29, and Mollie King, 23, showed off their legs in shorts, their bandmates opted for comfy sweatpants.
Pint-sized singer Vanessa White, 21, was swamped by her grey tracksuit bottoms, which were so long they were dragging along the street.
Although all girls were fresh-faced, Healy, King and Frankie Sandford, 22, kept their mascara-free eyes hidden behind sunglasses.
Hiding behind the shades: Mollie King (left) showed off her tanned legs in a pair of denim shorts, while Frankie Sandford looked super casual in velour tracksuit bottoms and a Van Halen T-shirt
Give me an “R”: Wiseman looked tired and weary as she headed back from lunch, while Healy looked ready for action
The group popped out for lunch during a break in rehearsals for their upcoming performance on So You Think You Can Dance
The five-piece are set to perform their new single Notorious – their first release from their upcoming third studio album.
The track is written by Ina Wroldsen, who composed Up and Higher for The Saturdays, as well as The Pussycat Dolls” Hush Hush and Pixie Lott”s Gravity.
Hoping for a No.1: The five-piece are hoping Notorious will give them their first ever chart-topper
The band filmed the video in Los Angeles last month and have given a glimpse of the promo in online teasers in recent days.
No doubt the five-piece are hoping this single will finally score them the No.1 which has eluded them for so long.
Since they launched their debut single in 2008, the group have failed to achieve a No.1 hit, with their highest being Forever Is Over at No.2 in October 2009.
On Monday, the girl group also performed the song for the upcoming Saturday episode of Channel 4 music show Koko Pop.
