Having departed in the third series of popular reality show The Only Way Is Essex, Kirk Norcross made a surprise return to the show that made him famous on Sunday night.

The Essex boy has not been seen regularly seen on TV since appearing on Celebrity Big Brother at the beginning of this year.

And it now appears that the 24-year-old has made a permanent return to the ITV2 show.

Fall-out: Kirk and his dad Mick were seen having a chat following their off-camera disagreement

Kirk’s first scene featured a reunion
between he and his father, nightclub owner Mick Norcross, who seemingly
hadn’t spoken for a long time.

Mick said: ‘This is the longest we’ve never spoke for, do you realise that’

‘Yeah
I know and I hated every minute of it… the only reason I didn’t speak
was because I didn’t want it to turn into an argument’, Kirk reasoned.

The 49-year-old replied: ‘Do you know I
have discussions with people every day of my life in my daily business
and they don’t end in arguments. Does that not tell you something’

Mick tried to reason with Kirk that he was just trying to lead him along the right path in life.

He said: ‘I’ve spent my life trying to guide you because I have years of experience in life, twice as much as you and I’m trying to guide you through that.’

Kirk added that he wanted to find his own job to do without Mick – but still wanted to spend quality time with his dad like the pair used to.

The returning reality star said: ‘I’d rather find something that I can do for a job and make a career out of it and have that as my thing, working on my own, then be your son – I loved it when we used to go shopping.’

Mick replied: ‘I love to do father and son things together – whatever you want do to mate.’

The pair then decided that Mick would help Kirk exchange his car for a new model and were later seen shopping together.

Since
Kirk left the show, his dad Mick has continued to appear, with his club
the Sugar Hut remaining the back drop for many classic scenes featuring
the Essex gang.

Mick’s
scenes have often featured Kirk’s ex-girlfriend Lauren Pope and Chloe
Sims, or he has been seen giving advice to younger male characters on
the show, like James ‘Arg’ Argent and Mario Falcone.

But Kirk’s return will likely mean that the pair will feature together in many more scenes once again.

The star took to Twitter on Sunday night to thank fans for their support about his return to the show.

He tweeted: ''Thanks for the support guys!!!! Love you all!!! …
I'm glad to be back!!! #KirksBack #TOWIE #theonlywayisessex'.

The premiere of the seventh series of TOWIE also featured the fall-out of Arg and Gemma’s break-up, where viewers learned that Gemma had since got back together with her ex-boyfriend Rami.

Frankie Essex showed off her new boob job to the girls while worrying that they may look like ‘pecs’, meanwhile her brother Joey made firm plans to move in with girlfriend Sam Faiers.
