Embracing the winter blues: Thandie Newton steals the limelight in vibrant frock at The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel premiere
She stunned as she stepped out in a floorlength chic black dress at the Laureus World Sports Awards on Monday night.
But just 24 hours later Thandie Newton's wowed with a vibrant blue mini-dress at The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel film premiere in London.
She doesn't appear in the film, but Thandie was the star of the show at the screening in Mayfair on Tuesday night.

Stepping on to the red carpet, the Crash actress looked ravishing in the electric blue asymmetrical gown.
She was clearly getting into the festive spirit of things at the colourful bash by donning the outfit, which is a far cry from the black dress she was seen in earlier in the week.
Thandie completed the look by scraping her hair back and wearing nude pointy heels.

And the 39-year-old brought her husband, Ol Parker, in tow to attend the world premiere with her.
Looking dapper, he was dressed in a classic black suit with white shirt and black pencil tie.
The pair looked loved up as they happily posed for photographs, kissing for all to see.
And Parker showed he was a true gent by wrapping his arms around his wife and placing his jacket on her to shield the star from the chilly London air.
But while all eyes were on Thandie, it was a big night for Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Dev Patel, who all star in the new movie.

The film tells the tale of a number of British retirees who decide to move to India to live in what they believe is a luxury renovated resort.
But on arriving they realise the hotel is not quite as perfect as it was advertised, although they all slowly fall in love with its unexpected charms.
While Thandie opted for chic colour, actress Celia Imrie, who plays Madge in the film, went for all out bold.

Adopting the Asian theme, the actress happily paraded her loud red,yellow and blue sari as she greeted a number of her castmates and chatted amongst them.
But Judi Dench kept it classic, as always, opting for a black trouser and top combo.
Although, not to be outshone she also worked some colour with a blue paisley pashmina with gold jewellery.

Bollywood star Tena Desae was the belle of the ball in her lavish traditional gold dress, showing off her belly with a chain.
She gleamed with joy as she cuddled Judi on the red carpet and posed with the rest of the stellar cast.
And while the girls stunned with their lavish and bright outfit choices, Dev Patel went for a dapper suit, as did co-star Bill Nighy.
But it didn't matter as the movie bosses had gone all out with the premiere's setting, decorating The Curzon with red, orange, yellow and pink.
