And now an heiress tries the Scouse brow: Tamara Ecclestone sports new look at sister Petra”s 23rd birthday
Celebrities, reality stars and even royalty have followed the trend.
And it appears a certain heiress has adopted the Scouse brow look.
Tamara Ecclestone donned thicker and darker eyebrows than usual last night as she celebrated her 23rd birthday at the Michelin-starred restaurant Kai in Mayfair, London.
Tamara Ecclestone arrived at her sister Petra”s 23rd birthday in London last night sporting the latest trend, the Scousebrow
The thick, dark facial hair is quickly becoming a trend that has been sparked by the cast of the new E4show, the Desperate Scousewives.
Changed: Tamara”s eyebrows were lighter at an event on December 10
Tamara, 27, joins fellow reality star Lauren Goodger who was last week was seen donning the look.
But daughter of billionaire F1 boss Bernie is better suited to the look than the blonde The Only Way Is Essex star because of her brunette locks.
Even the Duchess of Cambridge has sported thicker eyebrows of late.
Tamara smiled brightly outside the restaurant last night as she posed for photos.
She wore a fur gilet over a black and white printed top which she paired with tights and boots.
Her dark hair fell in loose curls.
But Tamara”s sister Petra failed to crack a smile despite the night being in her honour.
The girls hadn”t invited their father, who was spotted at a restaurant nearby wiith his girlfriend Fabiana Flosi.
Petra posed outside with new husband James Stunt and even when he affectionately kissed her on the head, she looked miserable.
Perhaps she was feeling a little deflated as she realised that no party would ever be able to top her 12 million wedding.
Catching on: The look was first seen on Desperate Scousewives star Jodie Lundstram but has spread south to Lauren Goodger and Kate Middleton
Fashionable: Tamara wore a black fur gilet over a black and white printed top which she paired with leggings and boots.
Petra dressed similarly to her sister in a gilet over a white turtleneck with tights and boots.

Happy twosome: Tamara and her stockbroker boyfriend Omar Khyami arrive for the dinner
What”s wrong Petra looked moody outside the restaurant as she posed with husband James Stunt
In love: Petra still accepted an affectionate kiss on the head from James who she married in August in a 12 million wedding in Rome
They live in America”s most expensive home – a sprawling 57,000ft French chateau-style uber-mansion in Los Angeles which Petra purchased for $85 million this year.
It has more than 100 rooms, including 14 bedrooms.
But despite the massive purchase, Petra recently defended herself against critics calling her a “spoilt brat”.
Two of a kind: Petra wore a similar gilet to her sister over top of a white turtleneck, leggings and boots
While posing with a fistful of $100 bills, she said: “With time, people will get to know the real me and realize that I’m not going to parties and falling out of my dress and getting drunk and all that.
“Obviously, I don’t sit at home knitting all night long, but I am very mature at the end of the day.
“I feel like I always have to defend myself. When you’re perceived to be something you’re not, it’s frustrating.”
Doing her part: The heiress is now an ambassador for the Meningitis Trust
She told Flaunt magazine that she had to defend herself in the UK more than in the U.S.
“Americans are more apt to understandmy parents’ story. They didn’t come from great beginnings, and they hadto work very hard to get to where they got.
“I realize I am very privileged. But there’s a difference between being spoiled and privileged.”
Not invited: The girls” father Bernie Ecclestone was spotted at a restaurant nearby wiith his girlfriend Fabiana Flosi
