Supermodel Coco Rocha proves she has beauty AND talent with charity jewellery line

She's known for her razor-sharp cheekbones and outspoken opinions on the model industry. But supermodel Coco Rocha, it seems, has creative talent as well.

The 23-year-old has designed a jewellery line with charitable organisation Senhoa, which rescues and rehabilitates young Cambodian women from the sex-trafficking trade.

But as well as having a virtuous purpose (all profits go towards the cause), Ms Rocha also displays impressive design skills.

The pieces, are all bold
statement-makers, some more works of art than jewellery. One choker has
strings of beads that drape over the shoulders, while another boasts
large crystal spikes.

And though they may look like couture, prices are relatively reasonable, starting at $65 for the Sopheary bracelet, up to around $200 (with the exception of the $995 Rachany choker).

Naturally, she models them herself, striking some of her famous poses in the campaign images.

In an interview with Teen Vogue she
revealed how she first learned about Senhoa at her wedding, where a
guest was wearing a Senhoa bracelet.

Social conscious: The supermodel was inspired by the cause when a guest at her wedding showed her a bracelet made by a Senoah girl

'Over the course of the next year [I] wore Senhoa jewelry pieces at
various red carpet events,' she said. 'As I learned more about the issue of human
trafficking and heard the particular stories of these girls that Senhoa
assists I knew I wanted to do something more. So we decided that a
jewelry collaboration was a great way to lend my voice to the cause.'

Each piece was designed both in keeping with her own tastes and to symbolise the women supported by the Senhoa initiative.

'I'm very picky about the jewelry I
like to wear so this collection definitely reflects my personal
aesthetic,' she continued. 'I wanted to create a very fashion forward
collection, but still incorporate the wonderful beading work the Senhoa
women are known for.

Empowerment: The money from the sales will go towards paying the workers and supporting the organization that feeds, houses and educates the girls that are rescued

Multi-talented: Naturally, the 23-year-old lent her modelling skills to the cause too, striking some of her famous poses in the campaign

'I also tried to create pieces that symbolize the Senhoa girl who is being empowered through the program.'

Though she has used Swarovski crystals throughout, the
Canadian beauty has endeavoured to keep the price points with reach of her fans.

For those pieces that cost that little extra she said: 'I think when people learn about the wonderful cause these pieces
support, they wont feel bad about spending money.

'Our motto is “accessorize your conscience” and really, no one has a reason to feel
guilty for treating themselves to one of these pieces!'
