It's a website that caters for 'generous' rich men who dream of holidaying with beautiful young things hanging off their arms.

And for Steven, a 31-year-old financial advisor from San Diego, MissTravel.com has certainly followed through on its promise.

The dating website, which vaguely resembles an escort agency, introduced Steven to Sibel, 27, from New York, whom he flew over to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to join him on one extremely lavish blind date.

On their first night, the pair shared a private dinner on the beach before retiring to separate bedrooms for the evening.

The
following day, Steven arranged for a 52-foot yacht to take the pair
sailing where they are said to have flirted and 'kissed on the bow of
the boat a la Titanic'.

On their final day, Sibel prepared a breakfast for Steve as a token of gratitude.

Steven told ABC that the recent weekend-long date has led to genuine feeling for Sibel.

'I think we definitely feel something for each other, after that weekend,' he said. 'The environment promoted a certain connection. Fun is the best aphrodisiac.'

The website, which launched in April, sells itself as 'the only online dating website for travellers'.

And while it allows men to essentially pay for romance, it also aims to cater for 'attractive' women who want free vacations.

Sibel said she was just as pleased with their weekend away.

'I think I am going to take my profile down,' she said. ' I only date one person at a time and Steve and I are dating.'

Similar to Sugar Daddy dating websites only with a globe-trotting theme, 'generous' travelling members are expected to cover all travel expenses belonging to 'attractive' travelling members.

'Attractive' travellers can either accept a proposal to visit the 'generous' member's home town or a proposal to go on a trip together, just as Steven and Sibel did.

The site also disclaims that it does not do background checks on its members which is no doubt an unappealing prospect for many women genuinely looking for a pleasant holiday with a potential match.
