Stella McCartney pretty in florals as she opens new store in Barcelona – fresh from being awarded International Designer of the Year

It has been a stellar couple of weeks for the designer Stella McCartney. First Pippa Middleton, London's most high-profile girl about town, chose to wear a tweed Stella dress for the launch of her party planning book.
Next, Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis chose a Stella McCartney to pick up her British Ambassador award at Thursday's Harper's Bazaar event. Last night, Stella picked up an International Designer of the Year gong at a Madrid awards ceremony.
On trend: Stella chose a patterned, tailored jumpsuit for the launch
Fashion forward: Stella McCatrney chose to wear a yellow floral shirt from her Spring/Summer 2013 collection for the opening of her Barcelona store
And today, Stella rounded off the week by opening a gleaming new luxury store in Barcelona.
The 41-year-old designer wore one of her own designs for the occasion: a
yellow and white patterned jumpsuit from the forthcoming spring/summer 2013
happy and relaxed at the event – her cheerful demeanor betraying none of
the hard work and dedication that must have gone into the whirlwind of
activity that precedes a shop opening.
Two nights ago at Madrid's Tevla Fashion Awards in Madrid where she collected her gong, she chose to wear a wetsuit-inspired
mini dress featuring drop-pelmet detail teamed with her signature 420
court shoes – and in the process showed off a pair of perfectly toned
legs most women
half her age would kill for.
Success: Stella's store opening rounded off a brilliant week for the designer, who has seen two high profile stars wear her designs
