While many celebrities use their fame to promote themselves and blag invites to showbiz bashes, some stars have been using their profiles to help charity.
The likes of Melanie Chisholm, JLS, Kimberley Walsh and Kara Tointon all turned out to run the Sport Relief mile earlier today.
Decked in Sport Relief T-shirts the stars took part in different events across the country to raise funds for the cause.
All for a good cause: Singer Melanie C and Kimberley Walsh were among the stars leading mile runs around the country to raise money for Sport Relief
Raising funds: JLS were also on hand to run a mile before taking to the stage tonight
Spice Girls star Chisholm was joined by model Nell McAndrew, as well as EastEnders actors Matt Lapinskas and Tony
Discipline in her race, which was kicked off by former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ann Widdecombe.
Speaking after the race Mel, who ran three miles during the event, said: 'The Spice Girls had a long history with Comic Relief and now we have Sport Relief and they do such amazing work.

And she was flanked by her co-stars from the show, who also wore the same tops as they joked and giggled before the start.
She wrote: 'Such a fantastic atmosphere down at the Mall! Couldn't quite keep up with @JLSOfficial but we did it! Well done @ShrekLondon #Sportrelief.'

Doctor Who actor David Tennant also gave it his all as he joined a number of youngsters for the mile, while TV presenters Richard Hammond and Alex Jones were amongst the crowds for their own runs.
Funnyman David Walliams, who swam 140 miles along the length of the River Thames for the campaign last year, turned up to one of the London legs and was seen smiling at the waiting cameras.
And in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha were at the front to start off the Sainsbury's Sport Relief mile there.
