Speed read: Cowboy boots go high fashion

The cowboy boot is back in fashion with everyone from Miu Miu to Marc Jacobs sending the Country and Western-inspired boots down the catwalk.

Long loved by the likes of Kate Moss and Cameron Diaz, the cowboy boot has always been a festival favourite.

Now it appears the look has gone high fashion with Marc Jacobs putting metallic cowboy boots with fringed skirts and Miu Miu creating a black velvet pair.

HOW TO WEARWear with skinny jeans and
a casual top for relaxed look. Balmain paired a black-and-white pair
with a pair of white jeans and tuxedo-style jacket.
If you're feeling
brave, try multi-coloured boots – but it's not an easy look to carry
off. Neither is wearing them with skirts, unless you are blessed with
tanned, toned legs.
Look for plain ankle boots with a Cuban heel or
Vshaped top for a low-key nod to the trend.
