Shoppers at the Trafford Centre will be used to seeing Martyna Sobol around – only now they”ll be seeing her in a slightly different capacity.
The beautiful 25-year-old has been a cleaner at the Manchester shopping centre for the past three and a half years.
But a couple of months ago, she was scouted, mid-shift, by people recruiting for New Look”s latest campaign. Now she graces posters in stores up and down the country.

Her first professional photoshoot in London even went so well that she’s landed a contract with a modelling agency.
But Polish-born Martyna, from Whitefield, Bury, isn’t planning to give up her day job at The Orient dining area just yet.
She said: “I hope this could be the start of a modelling career for me, but you never know how these things will work out, whether they’ll get back to me in a week, or a year, or not at all.

“Cleaning wasn’t something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, but I work with nice people which is why I’ve stayed here – and I still have bills to pay!”
Pictures of Martyna modelling dresses, sunglasses and T-shirts can be seen in fashion magazines and New Look stores across the country – including the Trafford Centre branch.
Her rise to fame started when she was asked by New Look scouts to enter a competition to find models for their adverts.
Martyna says: “My friends urged me to go and have my picture taken, but I didn’t expect anything of it. But a week later I was invited to do a photoshoot. I’ve never done any modelling before so I was so surprised.
“They paid for my travel and hotels and it was just a brilliant experience. I can’t believe how I look so different.”
Martyna’s new life is especially exciting for her fiance Dan, who has been busy taking photographs of his girlfriend posing alongside billboards in the store.
She said: “I think my fiance was more excited than I was! When he saw the pictures in magazines he was really happy and was showing everybody.”
In a spooky turn of events, Martyna reckons the Trafford Centre’s fortune teller may have also predicted her modelling adventure.
Model behaviour: Martyna”s fiance is, understandably, very pleased with the campaign shots
Martyna explains: “That was the weird thing, just before I had my photo taken I’d been to see the fortune teller and she said to me “you are going to go to London” and a week later that came true.
“I’m definitely going back to her!” the aspiring model said.
