The night was supposed to be all about the comedians.

But Kylie Minogue stole the British Comedy Awards last night in a show-stopping dress, slashed to the thigh, revealing her toned legs.

The stunning two-toned number featured a red corset-like top half with a black piece draped over one shoulder and finishing past her ankles.

The Australian singer paired the evening gown with strappy black heels and had her strawberry blonde hair in loose curls.

Flanked by Jonathan Ross, the 43-year-old presented the British Comedy Academy Outstanding Achievement Award during the two-hour ceremony.

The gong went to E4″s The Inbetweeners.

Other winners last night included comedy queen Miranda Hart who recieved the TV Comedy Actress Award for her hilarious BBC show, Miranda.

DarrenBoyd received the TV Comedy Actor Award for Sky sitcom Spy.

Thebest comedy panel show award went to the recently axed Shooting Stars while the Best New Comedy gong went to Channel 4″s Fresh Meat.

“We thought we were writing a grittydrama.”
