He has only been on the X Factor live shows for two weeks but Rylan Clark seems to have already made a powerful enemy in Gary Barlow.
However, the cheeky Essex lad has come out fighting as he dismissed the judge as a minor concern and a bore.
Rylan was uncharacteristically seen shunning the spotlight on Monday, after he enjoyed a wild Sunday night on the town with some of his fellow X Factor contestants.
Fighting talk: Rylan Clark hid his face on Monday night as he stepped out of his hotel to have a cigarette after he slammed Gary Barlow
The hunter: Gary Barlow, pictured on X Factor on Saturday, has taken a particular dislike to Rylan and made no secret of his feelings during the last two live shows
The wannabe pop star was extremely open about his feelings toward Gary when he told heat magazine that he doesn't care what the Take That star thinks of him.
He said: 'What Gary doesn't remember is, when he first started out he was the one doing photoshoots with his arse out and stuff.'
The perma-tanned singer also took a swipe at Gary's lack of dancing ability as he laid into the chart topping star.
Big man: Rylan said that he doesn't care what Gary thinks but he would like to at least find out why he doesn't like him
He told the magazine: 'Anyone who can sing and dance at the same time… in my eyes, that's more of a talent than just standing there and singing.'
Rylan believes that Gary is such a popular character that even if he argued black is white, everyone would agree with him.
But he also thinks that the Could It Be Magic singer goes too far with his digs and he needs to realise that the X Factor is not the same type of competition as The Voice.
The running man: Rylan stood out on Monday night by wearing silver boots with a white hoody
Harsh words: The wannabe pop star thinks that Gary goes too far with his digs and should lay off him a little
Despite the fact that Gary clearly does not like Rylan, the hopeful is eager to get Mr Barlow in a room so he can find out exactly why he has an issue with him.
Rylan said:'I'd love to speak to Gary properly to see what the deal is.'
He certainly didn't help ease matters between himself and Gary when he agreed to have a tattoo of the famous judge on his back.
While it's only a temporary tattoo, it will do little to calm the storm that erupted after the previous Sunday's controversial episode.
The spoils: Rylan has been enjoying his time in the spotlight and was out partying with fellow contestant Lucy Spraggan, last week
Pop star: Rylan was was pictured on Sunday evening at G-A-Y in London kissing a transvestite model on the dancefloor as he celebrated his victory
The flamboyant personalty has divided opinion with his singing ability, but his fans have praised him for his over the top stage antics and energetic moves.
His wild personality was on show Sunday night as he was seen leaving G-A-Y nightclub with Lucy Spraggan and Tulisa's PA Gareth Varey at 4am.
The group had been drinking heavily and could barely stand up as they left. When they arrived back at the hotel Lucy had to carry Rylan up the stairs.
Good boys: Jamie Hamblett and Jaymi Hensley of Union J were seen arriving back at the Corinthia hotel after Sunday night's show
Pick me: Union J singer George Shelley makes sure that he is noticed as he waves at the fans
Not finished with the night's antics he came back down and pulled his pants down in the street whilst making a lot of noise.
Rylan then went into the hotel and the receptionists told him they wanted him out.
Onlookers alleged he then picked up a wet floor sign and threw it at the reception staff before running back out of the hotel still clutching onto Lucy.
Peas in a pod: Jade Ellis and Charlotte Rundle of MK1 braved the rainfall together as they headed back to the hotel
Heartthrob guard: Kye Sones was given a special guard as he arrived back to protect him from his screaming fans
They ran down Whitehall and Lucy hit Rylan over the head with the sign as he pushed her and she managed to get stuck between some building supplies at the side of the road.
The drama didn't stop there as the pair then ran up to Trafalgar Square and tried to get on a bus.
The X Factor PA's were hauled out of bed by hotel staff who then pursued the pair around the West End.
Street smart: Charlotte sported some cool clothes as she wore a Pink Floyd T-shirt with jeans and trainers
An onlooker said that Rylan and Lucy were down an alleyway where they both urinated in public before the X factor staff caught up with them.
They were told that they were being evicted from the hotel. The staff managed to talk them both into going back into the hotel to avoid any more damage but Rylan didn't go easily and clashed with one of the women who he shouted and swore at.
