'I still love her': Russell Brand opens his heart about estranged wife Katy Perry

Their marriage only lasted 14 months, but Russell Brand says he has no regrets about Katy Perry.
In fact, the British actor and comedian admitted he still loves his estranged wife in an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres show today.
The 36-year-old Get Him To The Greek star said: 'I still love her as a human being.

'But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it
'But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her.'
Brand appeared on the U.S. talkshow, alongside fellow British exports and YouTube sensations Sophia Grace Brownlee and Rosie McClelland.

Love lost: Russell filed for divorce in December after 14 months of marriage to Katy
Russell went on, to cheers from the audience: 'She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her,.'
Last December Brand filed for divorce from Katy. It was granted by a California judge in February and will become effective in July.
Both stars have new love interests now – most recently Perry, 25, has been linked to Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

Russell, meanwhile, has been linked to a string of women, including model-artist Oriela Medellin and Hungarian model Nikolett Barabas.
During the interview, Russell reflected on how things had not turned out as he had expected between him and Katy.
'You can’t absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life.
'Sometimes thing are just different and then you do just move with that and try and remain in contact with what is beautiful about yourself and each other … with any situation.'
