Married director Rupert Sanders has issued a public apology over his alleged Kristen Stewart affair.
The Snow White And The Huntsman director followed suit after the Twilight actress released a statement just moments before, grovelling to 'the most important thing in my life' Robert Pattinson.
Now the shamed father-of-two, 41, has addressed his infidelities to wife Liberty Ross, 33, saying: 'I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.
'My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world.'
He told People: 'I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.'

Kristen, meanwhile, expressed her regret and sorrow, saying: 'I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
'This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.'
Yesterday, it was reported that last Tuesday, Kristen was caught in the arms of Rupert – with celebrity magazine Us Weekly claiming to have photographic evidence.
A series of snapshots show the pair embracing and even kissing in a parked car.

In a further unsettling twist, the
two couples appear to have been rather well integrated, with Liberty
playing Kristen’s mother in
the Snow White film – her husband's silver screen feature debut.
Rupert also commented on R-Patz's presence while shooting the film, joking: 'Yeah, there was occasionally a guy in the shadows in a baseball cap on set.
'Rob and Kristen are both very down-to-earth, very nice people. We all became very close friends.'
Yesterday, the stunned model wrote on Twitter just one word, presumably to highlight her shock at the news, writing 'Wow', before then deleting her account.
Before deleting her page Liberty had also posted a series of cryptic tweets that seemed to be referencing the alleged affair.

Earlier this month, Liberty gave a candid interview to You magazine in which she revealed her marriage had suffered due to Rupert's catapulting career.
She said: 'I think that having been a model and so self-sufficient for those years, I was very ready to get married and have babies. I romanticised domesticity for a while, and loved having a shopping list of groceries stuck to the fridge for the first time.
'But moving here (from London to LA) and starting a life all over again was a lot harder than I had anticipated. I just didn’t think it would be as isolating and daunting as it turned out to be. I can honestly say that it took me five years to feel happy here.

Only a few weeks ago, Liberty gushed
