Diminutive Waterloo Road star Roxanne Pallett creates optical illusion in her very leggy dress at Magic Mike premiere

In Waterloo Road, youthful actress Roxanne Pallett plays troubled student Shelby Dixon.
But as she attended the London premire of Magic Mike last night, the former Emmerdale star looked a world away from her on-screen persona in a very sexy dress.
The diminutive actress, 29, showed off a lot of leg in a racy asymmetrical dress as she attended the London screening of the stripper movie at the May Fair Hotel.

Although she's only 5ft 1, the gown's daring thigh-high split made the actress appear a lot taller.
The dress was a Merabi by Nadine creation, which she teamed with a pair of transparent Christian Louboutin heels.
Roxanne was one of a host of stars who turned up to the May Fair for the screening, including Magic Mike's leading men Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum.

Being famous as abused housewife Jo Sugden in Emmerdale and alcoholic teen Shelby in Waterloo Road, Roxanne is associated with gloomy roles.
But the actress admitted she would love to take on a more comedic role in the future.
She said: 'My ultimate dream would be to be in something like Girl, Interrupted when Angelina Jolie, Winona Ryder and Brittany Murphy were in that mental institution.
'I would love to, at some point in my career, play a character like one of those because they're such tortured souls. Playing a character that's hit rock bottom and is at their most broken state would be so interesting.
