Birds and boiler suits: Rihanna mixes unlikely inspirations for latest Emporio Armani collection

She is usually seen in naval-exposing tops and mini-skirts.
But Rihanna's second capsule collection for Emporio Armani is just as modest as her first collection for the Italian label proved to be last November.
The 24-year-old pop star has designed a new collection of slouchy shirts and shorts, shoes and accessories as well as a distressed denim boiler suit and biker jacket as part of her second foray into the fashion world.
Demure: Rihanna has designed a second capsule collection for Emporio Armani but like her first collection which was released last year, it is unlike the usually skimpy outfits we are used to seeing on the pop star
Stylish: A edgy biker jacket, rolled-up shorts and lace-up boots resemble the Rihanna most are more familiar with. This sketch also shows another shirt featured in the collection which is emblazoned with a bird print
Three sketches have been released by the fashion label however a release date is unclear.
One image depicts the denim boiler suit, which appears as though it will feature an attached charm bracelet at the waist.
The collection's emblem, which features the iconic Emporio Armani eagle and the mega star's initial, is seen printed on the charm as well as on a new handbag shown in the sketches.
Fashion fan: Rihanna, pictured in a midriff in New York last week, has also designed underwear
The first collection offered a narrow bucket-style bag.
But the new handbag appears to be far larger.
Judging by the sketches, it will come in two white and tan varieties.
Another sketch shows a loose-fitting t-shirt that bares a colourful print across the chest.
Tank tops will also feature throughout the collection.
Skinny leg jeans are also shown in the sketch while multiple bracelets have been wrapped around the character's arm.
Two pairs of peep-toe shoes have also been revealed through the sketches. One of them feature bows which have been tied at the ankle.
A further sketch shows a shirt emblazoned with a delicate bird print which has been paired with jean shorts lined with a tartan print.
When rolled up, as the model in the sketch has shown to have done, the shorts reveal the red tartan print, adding a grungy detail to the piece.
It is one of the few pieces that seems to have stayed true to the singer's often-grungy style.
Lace-up boots and a biker jacket complete the edgier look.
Underwear will also be on offer, as it also was in her debut collection for the label.
Fashionista.com claim that the 'comfy' makes will be made of stretch cotton.
The underwear range will include a tank and shorts set and glittery push-up bras.

Style queen: The singer has said she is hoping to design her own clothing line next, rather than a third collaborative effort
In March, she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio program that her next step is embarking on the solo project, as opposed to pursuing a third range with Emporio Armani.
She said: 'After that [the release of this second collection] I'm really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn. So I'm working with designers. Designers that I respect and companies that I respect.
'I want people to really trust me before I just say “Buy it because it's mine.”'
