'There's something not right about Caroline and Harry's relationship': Rebecca Ferguson disapproves of Flack and Styles' age-gap romance
Having faced criticism for her short romance with toyboy Zayn Malik last year, many would expect Rebecca Ferguson to sympathise with Caroline Flack.
But despite the single mother's decision to date a teenager six years younger, she doesn't approve of Xtra Factor presenter host Flack's relationship with Malik's bandmate Harry Styles.
Flack, 32, and Styles, 17, have been romantically linked since October, with the young singer recently being photographed leaving her London house after an apparent sleepover.
Fleeting romance: Rebecca Ferguson and One Direction's Zayn Malik briefly dated last summer despite their six year age gap
The couple's 15 year age gap and the fact Styles is still classed as a teenager, rather than an adult, has been the subject of abuse from jealous One Direction fans as well criticism as other celebrities.
And Ferguson, 25, knows what it feels like after she was criticised fro dating Malik, who turned 19 last week, last year.
The X Factor 2010 runner-up was 24 when she enjoyed a four-month romance with Malik, who was 18 at the time, before they split in July.
As well as Malik's young age, Ferguson was criticised because she has two children Lillie, seven, and Karl, four.
Controversial: The only photo of Caroline Flack and Harry Styles together since they apparently started dating last October
While Ferguson insists she doesn't see what was wrong with her romance, she doesn't think Flack should be dating Styles.
She tells Fabulous magazine: 'I think there's something not right about Caroline and Harry's relationship.
'For me and Zayn it was different, because he was 18 so at least he could drive over to pick me up, we could go for a drink in a bar together and he was old enough to make his own decisions.

'But Harry is too young for that and there is so much more of an age gap between them.'
Reflecting on her own break-up, Ferguson said it was she that decided to end things and told Malik it was over during a phonecall.
She explained: 'One day I just woke up and thought: “This isn't working for me.”
'But when I meet a man I want to feel like he is with me 100 per cent. There shouldn't be any messing around… I'm not saying Zayn cheated.'
