His skills on the pitch and her knack for putting together a fabulous outfit have made Steven and Alex Gerrard one of football's most celebrated couples.
And now fans can get closer to the glamorous pair as a new fly on the wall documentary show takes an intimate look at the home life of the Liverpool star and his glamorous wife.
They feature in a new Channel 5 show, Being Liverpool, which goes behind the scenes at the top Premiership club.
Family man: Steven Gerrard is seen playing with his youngest daughter, Lourdes, as wife Alex Gerrard looks on in scenes from new C5 reality show Being Liverpool
Team captain Steven allowed cameras access to his luxurious home, which is in the National Trust protected area of Formby.
In one still from the six-part series, which will air on UK screens this Friday, he is seen playing with his youngest daughter in his large kitchen.
As the 32-year old gently coaxes 10-month old Lourdes, to totter towards him in a baby walker, stunning Alex can be seen in the background, casually leaning against the tasteful dark wood kitchen units.
Behind her is a small drum kit, perhaps revealing a hidden musical talent within the family.
Daddy's girl: Little Lexie Gerrard beams with delight as she talks to her dad, footballer Steven
Cute moment: It's clear that the Liverpool captain absolutely adores his children in the new documentary
Lourdes' big sisters, Lily-Ella, 8 and Lexie 6, also feature in the show, and it is obvious that they truly are the apples of their parents' eyes.
In one scene, Steven is treated to a karaoke performance from his eldest daughter.
He smiles widely as she sings confidently in to a microphone.
Chilling out: Steven cuddles his eldest daughter, Lily Gerrard, on an enormous sofa
Sing when you're winning: Steven looks delighted to be treated to a impromptu pop-performance from Lily
In other shots, he is seen cuddling his daughters individually, lavishing attention on each youngster individually.
England skipper Steven also reveals he is a modern man as the documentary follows him helping his youngest tot master a brightly coloured baby walker, and later playing with her on the family's large, plump sofa.
The footage also allows fans a sneaky glimpse inside the couple's palatial home, and a chance to check out their interior design preferences.
Home life: Steven and Alex are seen relaxing at home in the new fly-on-the wall series
Too cute: Ten month old Lourdes looks angelic as she scoots around in her baby walker
Tasteful designs: In the background, some of Steven and Alex's taste in interior design can be seen
The rooms are tastefully decorated in neutral colours, but there is some evidence of eccentric taste.
A large hand with its index finger and thumb connected to make the 'OK' sign, can be seen on display behind a sofa, and a large metalic pillar holds an enormous black vase.
The couple have light coloured carpets throughout their home, which is a brave move when there are three young children around.
The Gerrards appear in Being Liverpool, which follows the world-famous football club at the end of the 2011/12 season.
It appeared on US screens at the weekend, but will make its UK premier this Friday on Channel 5.
