A Canadian couple have proved that sometimes love is simply written in the stars.
Matthew Leger and Celia Rodrigues, a 24-year-old couple from Quebec, developed a romance while taking swimming lessons together when they were both eight.
Despite a ten-year break, initiated by Ms Rodrigues when the pair were 13, they are set to marry next month at a park situated next to the pool where their love originally blossomed.

Romance: The couple broke up at the age of 13 for ten years before picking up where they left off while they were in university
The pair have planned to tie the knot at Pierrefonds' Versailles Pool on August 18.
After labeling themselves girlfriend and boyfriend when they were just 11, their love was tested when Ms Rodrigues broke up with the young boy when they were 13.
'It broke my heart,' Mr Leger told the WestIslandGazette.com. 'It took me ten years to get her back.'
Although the pair attended the same university, their romance had certainly been put on hold.
It was not until Ms Rodrigues ran into her fiance's mother one day that her interest was sparked once again.
His mother advised her that Mr Leger had joined a water polo team, which Ms Rodrigues was keen to be apart of.
Meant to be: The couple originally met while living on the same street when they were five, but developed a friendship through swimming lessons at the pool
'I told his mother that I'd like to get into that and she told Matthew to call me,' she said.
Naturally, the wounded young man leaped at the chance to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart.
Although she never joined the water polo team, he said that it 'was as if not time had passed' between them.
The pair had originally met when they were both age five as they lived on the same street.
He proposed to Ms Rodrigues in November of last year; her 24th birthday.
Mr Leger said: 'We wanted an outdoor ceremony and we wanted a venue that had meaning for us. And, of course, it was the pool.'
The couple also revealed that the future
bride is considering Trashing The Dress, which is a type of wedding
photography that involves wearing a wedding gown in a non-elegant
environment, at the pool some weeks after their special day.
