Relationship hitman! Professional dumper will break up with YOUR girlfriend or boyfriend (and it'll only cost you a fiver)
'It comes naturally to me to intervene when love's going awry': John Kiekbusch will dump YOUR boyfriend of girlfriend for a fiver
It is never easy to easy to tell a partner it's over.
Most of us would run a mile rather than have the torturous break-up chat that marks the end of a failing relationship.
But if professional dumper Jonathan Kiekbusch has his way, confronting your soon-to-be-ex face-to-face could be a thing of the past.
The 21-year-old marketing executive from Brighton found he had such a natural way with breaking off relationships that he turned professional.
Now, for just 5 plus expenses of 20 per hour for a face-to-face meeting, Kiekbusch will be your own personal relationship hitman – promising to dump your girlfriend or boyfriend so you don't have to.
Kiekbusch, who is currently single, says his service is essential, describing himself not only as the right
person to help you dump your partner – but also a 'mediator' who sets
people free when love goes awry.
And it would appear business is booming.
Kiekbusch, who advertises his services via fivesquids.co.uk, a website where a variety of services all costing 5 are on offer – says he ends five or six relationships a week – but
always interviews the person wanting the break up to get the back story.
If he feels
uncomfortable, he refuses the job. And Kiekbusch is adamant he will
never intervene if the situation is too complex; if one partner has been
unfaithful, for example.
says he entered into this line of work after a tough break up of his own – where he wished he could call someone in to do his dirty work.
He also says he found he was frequently
the friend others turned to for emotional support.
But it was only when he came upon the fivesquids.co.uk website that he realised his special talent could earn him money.
He set up an advert offering the service described thus: 'I will break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend for you for 5'.
The promise comes with a delivery time of six days. So far, Jonathan has plenty of satisfied customers: his advert comes with a positive rating of 100 per cent.
One customer, Roger leaves feedback, saying 'seller was really helpful and understanding.
'It is something you should do yourself but if you find it too hard would definitely recommend.'
Bizarre: The site, fivesquids.co.uk, where Johnathan advertises his dumping service
'Having travelled the world and been in many relationships, I see myself as a bit of a relationship ending pro,' Kiekbusch says on his advert.
'I will contact your 'worse half' by mail or phone or both and give them the news.
'Please note that this service is serious and will end your relationship so please do some “soul searching” before committing to buy.
'Note: Please message me before buying so I can assess the job!'
The job comes with obvious hazards. Kiekbusch has been faced with tears and abuse when he has delivered his bad news.
But Kiekbusch, who says he uses all methods, from texts, to face-to face appointments and even instant messaging to dump unwanted partners, says ultimately, doing the dumping is surprisingly easy.
people might call these guys spineless but I see them as caring people
who cannot bring themselves to hurt someone they once cared for,' he
says in an interview with The Sun.
surprised at how easy it has been for me to deliver the bad news and
what little fall-out there is. I know there are some who will think
people should do their own breaking up as a mark of respect for the
relationship they shared.
I think it's better to take the heat out of a potentially volatile and
upsetting situation. I believe in love and think people shouldn't waste
their time in a bad relationship. I'm the voice of reason, for hire.'
Breaking up is hard to do: Jonathan says he eases the path for those who can't face confrontation with their partner
