'We've never had cancer in the family before': Peter Andre opens up about his brother Andrew's battle with the disease
It's been a horrendous week for Peter Andre and his family after his brother Andrew was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
And an emotional Peter Andre has opened up about pain and heartbreak as he keeps a constant vigil by Andrew's bedside in Sydney.
Speaking from Australia, where he flew to last week as soon as he heard the news, he said: 'This week has torn me apart.

He added: 'It's been horrific. I've had to see my brother lie there with all sorts of medication and sleeping for hours on end.
'We've never had cancer in out family so it's been a very difficult time for is all, Andrew had two massive operations last week to remove his kidney and then see if the cancer has spread.
'We are still waiting for the full test results but if it's spread, he's in serious trouble.'
The reality TV star flew out to Australia last week as soon as he heard the news and added: 'As a family, we have always felt so blessed to have avoided cancer – it's the one word that has never entered our family – so when Andrew was diagnosed it was terrifying.

'My parents are in an awful state. It's a huge operation. If the cancer has spread it could be fatal. There are times when he can't get up and other times he's up and about and happy.'
Peter, who turned 39 yesterday, didn't take his children, son Junior, six, and four-year-old Princess, with him to Australia.
But he said they have been on the phone every day and keeping spirits up by making them laugh.
He said: 'Junior has been speaking to Andrew and he keeps asking him if he has been bitten by a snake as that's what he associates with Australia, which has made Andrew laugh.'
'We speak every day': Peter and his children Junior and Princess – who didn't fly to Australia with him – and his other brother Chris at a premiere last November
