The Oscar quick-change artists: The stars who went from red carpet to ready-to-party . . . but which outfits worked best
Wearing a designer dress to the Oscars is one of the ultimate accolades for Hollywood's leading ladies.
But it seems some of them were in a hurry to let their hair down following the red carpet event.
Cameron Diaz was just one of the stars who changed outfits for the after-party.

Cameron swapped her elegant Gucci Premiere nude dress for a pop of colour with a Victoria Beckham gown.
The fresh tangerine suited her and formed a notable contrast to her Oscars look.
Jennifer Lopez, however, chose not to stray too far from her Zuhair Murad gown, opting for another plunging neckline, this time in maroon. JLo kept her hair the same but changed her earrings.

Earlier in the evening, Emma Stone caused a stir with a Giambattista Valli gown that was compared to a similar dress worn by Nicole Kidman in 2007.
But the The Help star chose to wear a black chiffon gown by Chanel later on in the evening.
The sheer peplum dress suited the star, who kept her hair the same.

Sarah Hyland was criticised for wearing an Alberta Ferretti dress that seemed too-old for her age but looked much more the part in a black prom frock later in the evening.
The stunning star wore the frock with red lipstick and matching clutch.
Shailene Woodley swapped her austere Valentino dress for a much more fun floral number by Proenza Schouler.

Model Irina Skayk took the idea one
step further – changing into a dress after attending the Elton John AIDS
Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party.
But not everyone felt the need for a
makeover. Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Sandra Bullock were just
some of the invitees who were too attached to their outfits to change.
