He always used to be known as the gentle, floppy-haired heartthrob from One Direction, but now Liam Payne is keen to show off his 'bad' side.
The boyband singer stepped out in London on Saturday night dressed as Batman for a Halloween party at Funky Buddha.
Initially going incognito in the typical superhero mask, the star revealed his famous face as he chatted outside the venue to his pals, including Olympian Tom Daley.

The elaborate all-black costume definitely kept Liam warm as he stepped out into the cold autumn night with his friends, who mostly opted to dress up as zombies for the night out.
Halloween is the time of year to transform yourself, and it seems that diver pal Tom Daley also took advantage of that.
The Olympian, also hailed as a teenage heartthrob for his muscular swimmer's body, decided to hide his great physique and dressed up as a Humpty Dumpty-type of figure.
However, his costume appeared to have deflated, as he sported a skintight skeleton suit later in the evening.

But Liam's Batman costume did prove to be somewhat uncomfortable for bathroom emergencies, although Liam seemed to have found a way to deal with that.
The One Direction star showed Tom how his costume has a handy flap in the front, should he need to relieve himself at some point during the night.
Tom clearly thought it was funny, as he was seen laughing as Liam joked around with his costume.

Despite being a hero to teen girls himself, Liam recently revealed he feels sorry for fellow heartthrob Justin Bieber, who as a solo artist has to go on tour on his own, whereas Liam is joined by band members Harry, Zayn, Louis and Niall.
'Not in a patronising way, but I kind of feel sorry for him,' he told Now magazine.
'I know he's got friends around him and they go on tour with him. But they're not going through the same situation as these boys are with me.'

Loving his boys: Liam recently revealed he's glad he's in a boyband
The star, who auditioned for X Factor in 2010 on his own, before being put together with the other four lads to form a boyband, says he's happy he didn't turn out to be a solo artist himself.
'If something bad happened to me tomorrow, Louis would be there for me 100 per cent. People sometimes ask if I want to be a solo artist, but it just wouldn't be any fun being on your own.'
'It's important to have a life outside the band. But at the same time I spent the night yesterday at Zayn's house. We all have this amazing brotherhood and that's what makes this job so special. If we didn't have each other, I think we'd crumble a little bit.'
That's frightening! Liam opted for the superhero look while his friends all chose scarier costumes
