Michael Phelps' abs and the Duchess of Cambridge's wedges aside, there is something else on everyone's radar at the Olympic Village.
Earlier this week, FEMAIL revealed the artist behind the athletes patriotic nails and now we bring you an exclusive 'how to' so you can get the in-demand look at home.
Ever since Rebecca Adlington showed off her Union Jack talons when she collected her medal, Sophy Robson and her team of nail artists have become an overnight success story.

The nail art has become a hit amongst the athletes and NailPorn have noted that eight out of ten want their national flag
Although she is more accustomed to painting the nails of celebrities such as Kate Moss, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Alexa Chung, the
self-proclaimed ‘flyest nail artist’ joined forces with P&G to
provide nail services to athletes and guests at the Olympic Village in
Stratford and it seems the world can't get enough.
In total there are 207 designs and the team work hard, shaping up around 10 – 15 manicures per person, per day.
designs have proven so popular that even Boris Johnson popped by for a
quick file and One Direction are keen to hop aboard the trend.
technicians have made their way through a staggering 200 bottles of nail varnish
and they have found that 8 out of 10 athletes stay true to their roots and request their
national flag to be painted onto their nails.
Sophy Robson has become an overnight success story and she designed 207 different nail sketches
Despite Sophy's celebrity following,
which includes the likes of fashion-savvy Henry Holland and Georgia-May
Jagger, she remains humble and has been constantly tweeting about how
grateful she is for the support.
The London-based nail designer has spoken out about being offered the opportunity to design the Olympic nails.

at this year’s Olympics in the UK. To be a part of such a historical and
once in a lifetime event is an opportunity you can not miss,' she said.

All nails should be filed, buffed and prepped with a base coat
