Dressing for the Laurence Olivier Awards last night, Kara Tointon was clearly going for a Twenties, flapper girl looking.
But as she walked on the red carpet, the Strictly Come Dancing 2010 winner's stunning gown was in danger of being overshadowed by her tiny frame.
Several guests commented on the actress's skinny figure as posed at the star-studded theatre ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
Tiny: Soap actress-turned-West End star Kara Tointon looked incredibly slim in her Twenties-inspired dress
Embracing the Twenties: The ex-EastEnder wore her hair in a bob style with finger waves
One wrote on Twitter: 'How much weight has kara tointon lost She looks unwell!', while another tweeted: 'Kara Tointon is tiny and stunning.'
The ex-EastEnder, 28, steered away from the predominant floor-length gowns for an Alice + Olivia Minka sequinned shift dress, which she teamed with a pair of nude Christian Louboutin heels and Garrard diamonds.
All eyes on her: Kara was the centre of attention as the cameras turned to her
Cheers! Tointon joined fellow Strictly Come Dancing winner Tom Chambers to present Outstanding Achievement in Dance
Changing shape: Tointon looked a lot curvier when she appeared on the Strictly Come Dancing final just over a year ago (right)
Tointon was at the awards to co-present the Best New Dance Production to Akram Khan for his show Desh.
She was joined on stage by fellow
Strictly Come Dancing winner Tom Chambers, who is now starring in a
nationwide tour of Top Hat alongside Summer Strallen.
One-sided: Hollywood star Natascha McElhone (left) and Jodie Whittaker both went for asymmetrical black gowns
Glamour: Captain America star Hayley Atwell looked lovely in a nude fishtail gown
To the winner the spoils: Best Actress winner Ruth Wilson wore a black prom dress which she showed off on the red carpet and while posing with her gong
The 5ft 5in star has previously
admitted she loses weight when she is stressed, most notably during her
2010 split from ex Joe Swash.
But she quickly regained her sexy
curves when she appeared alongside her now-boyfriend Artem Chigvintsev
in Strictly Come Dancing.
Blue is the colour: Actresses and singers Sharron D Clarke and Elaine Page opted for a very seasonal colour
Ladies who Oliver: Actresses Celia Imrie and Zoe Wannamaker pulled a silly pose as they showed off their party frocks
She said in an interview last year: 'If I'm not active, I get really
agitated. While I was in EastEnders I didn't have the time, but I've
always been quite lucky with my weight. I stay at 8 to 8st. I feel more
confident now I'm toned as well
Bringing some Hollywood glamour was Californication star Natascha McElhone in an asymmetrical floor-length black gown.
Sisters are doing it for themselves: Summer Strallen was full of the joys of spring in her floral frock while her older sibling Scarlett went for a more formal strapless black dress
Scarlett women: Susannah Fielding posed on the red carpet in a sexy red dress with a huge split up the front while Barbara Windsor settled for a deeper shade with a twisted neckline
Also going for asymmetrical was Marchlands star Jodie Whittaker, in a black column dress.
Luther star Ruth Wilson, who was
recently romantically linked to her former co-star Jude Law, won Best
Actress for Anna Christie.
Cheers! Shrek star Kimberley Walsh raises a glass of bubbly inside the bash before posing with Ronan Keating and former Shrek star Nigel Harman, who won Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical
One of showbiz's solid couples: Former EastEnders star Anita Dobson and her rock star husband Brian May were also guests
The Donmar Warehouse production, while also starred Law, was also named Best Revival.
Scots actor James McAvoy looked dapper in a black suit as he arrived with actress wife Anne-Marie Duff.
The Last King Of Scotland star was at the ceremony to present the Best Revival Award to Anna Christie.
Triumphant: Wilson with her Best Actress accolade for Anna Christie and Jonny Lee Miller holding his shared Best Actor trophy with Benedict Cumberbatch (not pictured) for their performance in Frankenstein
