Decked out in dazzling array of evening gowns, the Ryder Cup WAGs bring a touch of glamour to the golfing green as they pose for a group photograph with European captain Jose Maria Olazabal ahead of the start of the 39th tournament.
The wives and girlfriends of players from both sides hit a fashion hole-in-one as they gathered at the Medinah Country Club in Chicago on Tuesday night to enjoy some quality time together before the action gets underway on Friday.
The ladies stole the limelight from their sports star
husbands to a enjoy gala evening together at the Ryder Cup Gala where they were treated to an appearance from pop
star and heartthrob Justin Timberlake.

Although the players were all on good
form on Wednesday, come Friday – when the first ball is struck in the
foursomes at nearby Medinah – the intense rivalry between the USA and
Europe will most certainly come to the fore.

The star-studded opening ceremony in Chicago, at which Europe
captain Jose Maria Olazabal wept over the memory of his late, great
friend, Seve Ballesteros, set the tone for the tournament to come and the 39th Ryder Cup looks set to be filled with passion, athletic excellence and plenty of sideline glamour.
pop star Justin Timberlake hosted the bash and
there was also a guest appearance from 18-time Olympic gold medallist
and his American counterpart, David Love III, rounded off the night by
announcing the pairings for Friday's foursomes, which will get the real
action underway at 1.20pm UK time.
Dressed in a sea of midnight blue, the European WAGS looked stunning as they descended on the Medinah Country Club grounds, whilst their American counterparts were dressed in beige and cream dresses.
The golfing WAGs will be out and about in force over the next few weeks and leading the pack was Diane Donald — wife of Luke, who showed the ladies a good time in her hometown of Chicago.

A former nurse, Katie met Ian in the late 90s but they didn't tie the knot until 2007; the pair now have four children together.
One WAG who gives her partner a run for his money in the athletic stakes is Kate Rose.
As a former acrobatic gymnast, Justin's partner Kate quit sports and devoted her life to him.
The couple, who married in 2006, have two children together and split their time between England and Florida to fit to Justin's tour schedule.
One lady who was always destined to be a golfing girl was Laurae Westwood.
She met Lee through her professional golfer brother Andrew Coltart at the 1995 Scottish
After their marriage in 1999, Laurae gave birth to their two children and quit her job as a beautician to devote time to her children.
