A slimmed-down Nigella Lawson steps out for a stroll in Mayfair with husband Charles Saatchi

She’s known for her curvaceous figure and cooking up a storm on television.
But lately it seems as if Nigella Lawson has been keeping away from some of the tasty treats that she is famous for cooking.
The 52-year-old looked very slender as she met her husband for a spot of shopping on Monday.

The former Nigella Express star wore
skinny black jeans with high heel boots, a fitted black top and a
stylish coat to keep warm.
met husband Charles Saatchi in Mayfair and the pair swiftly went
window-shopping at Christian Louboutin to gaze at the luxurious shoes.
The TV star wore little make-up as she walked down the affluent streets and perused the premium stores.

Nigella recently released her latest
cookery book, Nigellissima, which is based on her BBC2 show
on her love of Italian food.

The slimmed-down brunette recently told the Radio Times that she thinks that all mothers feel like failures from time-to-time.

She said: ‘People who don’t have
children imagine that their whole lives would be all right if they had
children, but they don’t realise that having children gives you lots of
problems; one is constantly worrying.’
Nigella has two children, Cosima, 18, and Bruno, 16, from her relationship with her late first husband, journalist John Diamond.
I think it’s impossible to be a mother without a huge sense of failure…
Not that I think of my children as failures. I think they’re wonderful.
But one is always aware of what one isn’t doing right.’
about what’s important to her as a mother, Nigella said: ‘Although I’m
pretty easy-going about most things, I do think manners are important,
and being kind. And they make me laugh, and that’s quite important. So I
like the people they are.’
The famous chef married art collector Charles Saatchi in 2003 and the couple currently reside comfortably in trendy Chelsea.
