'Heated Big Brother argument with Denise Welch triggered return of my bulimia,' says Nicola McLean
Denise Welch had a tough time in the Celebrity Big Brother house and was often left in tears after arguing with some of her fellow stars.
However, according to Nicola McLean, the former Coronation Street actor is not the only victim and she is part of the reason why the glamour model has fallen back into bulimia.
The 30-year-old reality TV star has said that her blazing row with Denise caused her eating disorder to return.

The mother-of-two has spoken openly in the past about her battle with bulimia when she was a young up and coming model, but she now claims to have slipped back to her old ways because of something Denise said to her.

The women were engulfed in a huge shouting match after a drunk Denise, 53, pulled down the trousers of Playboy model Karissa Shannon as a joke.
As Karissa and her twin sister Kristina argued against Denise's actions, Nicola got involved and tried to tell Welch off.
Speaking to Now magazine, Nicola said: 'I love Denise and admire her on Loose Women but it really got to me that she seemed to think because we’ve posed in magazines we wouldn’t mind showing our bodies in the house.
'I’ve always had to deal with people’s opinions about me being a Page 3 girl – a job I had to do to survive after growing up extremely poor and with no qualifications – but this time, the stress of such a heated argument triggered my bulimia.'
Nicola also claims to have made her sick in the house but without the cameras picking it up or any of her housemates seeing her.
She said: 'My eating disorder’s been well documented in the past but, although I thought I’d beaten it, I actually made myself sick in the house that night.
'I felt so desperately upset – it was my only way of coping. The rest of the housemates thought I was just crying in the toilet.'
McLean also blames the negative reaction from the public for her eating disorder and she feels that she was unfairly targeted as the pantomime villain on the show.
