Back to what he does best: Ne-Yo goes from X Factor to the stage as he performs intimate gig in London club

Just days ago he was seen helping Nicole Scherzinger pick her Boys for the X Factor.
But last night, Ne-Yo showed the show's contestants how it's done as he performed an intimate gig in London.
Used to singing to huge crowds in arenas and stadiums, Ne-Yo, 32, performed to a select group of media and guests at the Salon Club at Embassy.
Ready to party: Ne-Yo arrives at the London launch of Malibu Red at the Salon Club in Mayfair last night
The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter gig was to mark his collaboration for the new Malibu Red drink.
Among the guests were Alexandra Burke and Conor Maynard who watched him sing tracks including Monster and Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself).
Like most chart-toppers, Ne-Yo likes to work hard and play hard so teaming up with rum-makers Malibu made perfect sense to him.
Keep it simple: Alexandra Burke went for an all-black ensemble in black jeans, leather jacket and knee-high Christian Louboutins
As Creative Director of the new drink, Ne-Yo and the Malibu team have blended Malibu rum with tequila.
He also worked with a team of mixologists to create new cocktail recipes for the drink.
Ne-Yo said: 'Malibu and I have been working
behind-the-scenes to create a rich experience for Malibu Red that
represents the many different creative areas of my life.
Support: Teen singer Conor Maynard, who duetted with Ne-Yo on Turn Around, also attended
its smooth and fiery flavour fusion, we hope it resonates that same
feeling within others.'
Alexandra went for a laid-back look in skinny black jeans, a leather jacket and knee-high Christian Louboutins.
She clearly enjoyed herself, tweeting: '@ the launch of Malibu Red. So good to see my boy @NeYoCompound perform again.'
Too much Red Ne-yo looked in high spirits as he left the club last night
Coincidentally, Ne-Yo's forthcoming album is called R.E.D. which stands for Realizing Every Dream.
The album, his fifth studio release, includes the club-banger Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself) and Lazy Love.
