Just days ago they were waxing lyrical about how they 'couldn't wait' to get back together following their three-year hiatus from the music industry.
But Nadine Coyle was notably absent as Kimberley Walsh celebrated her 31st birthday alongside Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts on Wednesday night.
As the trio hit London's exclusive Zuma restaurant for a slap-up meal, Nadine was doing her own thing just a few minutes cab ride down the road.
Doing her own thing: Nadine Coyle seemed to have snubbed Kimberley Walsh's birthday dinner as she stepped out in London on Wednesday night
The 27-year-old singer spent the evening at Home House in Portland Square, by no means a million miles away from her bandmates' choice of destination in Knightsbridge.
Nadine wrapped up against the winter cold in a chic black trench coat, which she teamed with burgundy suede knee-high boots and a bright aqua handbag, with her light brunette locks tumbling around her shoulders.
The Northern Irish beauty hugged a male pal as she prepared to depart the venue, before jumping in to a nearby car.

And Nadine wasn't the only Girls Aloud member notably absent from the celebrations, with Sarah Harding also seemingly nowhere to be seen.
But Kimberley, Cheryl and Nicola certainly didn't let their bandmates' no-show get them down, with the girls treating themselves to a decadent three-course meal and by the sounds of things having an all-round great evening.
Cheryl wrote on her Twitter page: 'Almost ate myself to death with the girls @KimberleyJWalsh @NicolaRoberts why did we do the desserts'
Best of friends Just last Friday, Nadine said she 'couldn't wait' to get back together with her Girls Aloud bandmates
Nicola responded: 'I can't even think about it! I feel sick! Help me pls!'
Birthday girl Kimberley added: 'Asking myself the same question! Time to undo the leather trousers I think.'
Cheryl undoubtedly stole the show when it came to the girls' choice of outfits, showcasing her incredible figure in a form-fitting tan leather shift dress, which she teamed with nude heels and lashings of scarlet lipstick.
Kimberley and Nicola followed suit with the leather theme, with the birthday girl looking chic and sexy in tight-fitting leather trousers and a grey wool jacket.

Meanwhile, Nicola wrapped up against the cold weather in a leather skirt and chunky cream wool sweater, which she teamed with punky bow-detail stilettos.
Just days ago, the band explained they had put their alleged past disagreements behind them.
When questioned by host Terry Wogan following their performance on BBC's Children In Need last Friday, Nadine said: 'What disagreements'
Kimberley explained: 'We've all fallen back into the same roles like nothing's ever changed.'
Cheryl insisted: 'There is no drama.'
Close chums: On Saturday evening, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle enjoyed a night out at London's St Martins Lane Hotel
Elsewhere, Girls Aloud's hotly-anticipated comeback single, Something New, looks set to debut at number two in this weekend's charts if the midweek rankings are anything to go by.
Olly Murs' new track Troublemaker is currenly 28,000 copies ahead of the band's latest offering, leaving them in second place behind the former X Factor runner-up.
A Girls Aloud spokesperson declined to comment on Kimberley's birthday meal when approached by MailOnline.
Reunited: The girls seemed to be having a whale of a time as they laughed and joked together
