Her versatility is why she is one of the highest-paid models in the world.

And Miranda Kerr demonstrated, yet again, that she is worth every penny of her million dollar contracts.

The
model was channelling pure 1950s glamour when she stepped out wearing a chic trouser
suit at a photo shoot in Sydney.

The dark cropped trousers, white t-shirt and grey, tweed jacket were
teamed with cat-eye sunglasses, black patent heels and a smart leather
bag.

But it was her hair
that added a touch of class. She wore her dark tresses in large, loose
curls, tumbling over her shoulders – a look contrasting with her usual
style of poker-straight hair.

Kerr was snapped as she left a photo shoot in Sydney for Australian department store David Jones.

The shoot was also attended by Australian television host Jason Dundas. Both Kerr and Dundas are ambassadors for the retailer.

Earlier this week, other images of Kerr emerged from another David Jones shoot, where she sported a girl-next-door look.

Kerr's AUS$1million contract with David Jones makes her Australia's highest-paid model.

Before
taking up her commitments with the retailer this week, the model and
her husband, actor Orlando Bloom, took their infant son Flynn on a
secret sunshine getaway to the Great Barrier Reef.

Kerr
has since revealed how the couple flew under the radar and went to
great lengths to dodge the paparazzi so they could enjoy some private
time away with their 18-month-old son.

Describing herself as a 'super spy', she said: 'I love coming back to Australia, especially when I can be undercover.

'I tricked everyone this week. We had
to go to great lengths to do so. 'I can't tell you what we did because
then people would know our secrets but I felt like I was in Mission
Impossible, ducking and weaving and dodging into different cars.'

In the David Jones campaign, 29-year-old Kerr shows off her versatility by modelling a range of looks, from lingerie to high fashion.

Although known in the U.S. for
modelling Victoria's Secret, back in her native Australia Miranda is
still known as the face of David Jones. However, there is speculation
that the model may not continue her contract with the retailer.

Her
AUS$1million (673,000 / US$1.05million) a year contract – thought to
be the most lucrative modelling deal in Australia – is due to expire in
2014.

Following her recent change of
modelling agencies from Sydney-based Chic Management in favour of giant
firm IMG Models, fashion insiders believe the model may become too
expensive for the Aussie department store chain.

Miranda
signed to David Jones in 2007 – the same year she landed her Victoria's
Secret lingerie contract and started dating now-husband Orlando Bloom.

The couple, who celebrated their second anniversary last month, have an 18-month-old son Flynn.
