Another season, another shade.

Newly-engaged Miley Cyrus stepped out with freshly-coloured summer locks today on her way to get Starbucks drinks with a female friend in Los Angeles.

It was clear the 19-year-old had a trim and brightened her previous auburn hair by adding extra blonde highlights around her face, and she completed her new look with a jaunty bandanna headband.

Dressed in her usual uniform of a sheer
top and high-riding denim shorts — the Party in the USA singer looked
happy in her neon-green-and-black sexy attire.

For the past month, Miley has been wearing her hair in a high bun — an obvious sign that the star was tiring of her look.

On May 2, the young multimillionaire
did away with her former blondette ombr style for a two-tone look of
blonde complete with auburn roots.

Miley had reportedly been 100 percent set on releasing her sixth studio album before her summer wedding to Liam.

'Haven’t heard that,' Hemworth’s rep told Gossip Cop of the rumoured wedding next weekend.

Liam is currently busy shooting
Empire State with Emma Roberts and Nikki Reed in Louisiana, and will
only be 'back in LA for a night next week to receive an award from
Australians in Film on the 27th.'

Today Miley returned to her cryptic
twittering, posting lyrics to two Duncan Sheik songs — 'Nothing Fades'
about human immortality, and a particularly romantic
us-against-the-world track called 'I Wouldn't Mind.'

'I wouldn't mind if all my big plans
fell apart. Left me empty handed I'll start again like new. If your with
me how can I lose' Miley tweeted Miley, who just began reading Fifty
Shades Freed of the bestselling erotic novel trilogy.

Hemsworth proposed to the former Disney star on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweller Neil Lane.

Miley made her engagement announcement to People Magazine, saying: 'I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.'

The couple met while working together
on The Last Song in 2009 and Liam has previously admitted while he
wanted to be professional on the film, they couldn't help but fall in
love after working so closely together.

It hasn't been the smoothest of
relationships; The couple announced that they had split in August 2010
but were back together within a month. They broke up again in November
last year before reconciling again.

The former Disney star is hoping that
her role in next week's comedy, So Undercover, will charge up her
stalled movie career after her last two flicks LOL and The Last Song
failed to impress at the box office.

22-year-old fianc will begin shooting the highly-anticipated sequel to

new music since covering a Bob Dylan song for the charity album Chimes
