Mickey Rourke admitted he 'went to the wrong guy' for his plastic surgery procedures on his face.
But last night, the Sin City star's unusual face would have been a familiar sight to his boxing buddies, who have built their entire career on punching other people in the visage.
The New York native, currently on UK shores, hit central London with the perfect partners in crime, and who better to show him a good time than beefcakes David Haye and Joe Calzaghe.
Unusual: Mickey Rourke sports surgery scars while leaving Rose club in London, before hitting Stringfellows
Mickey turned to boxing himself in 1991 after his Hollywood career nosedived – and
claims that the reason he later sought cosmetic surgery was to 'correct injuries sustained from the sport'.
The trio were seen dining at C
Restaurant in Mayfair, before venturing to Rose nightclub and eventually
heading to strip joint Stringfellows – where they sneaked in through
the back door.
Obviously rather taken with his
transatlantic friend, former WBA heavyweight champion Haye tweeted a
picture of the group alongside the caption: 'Dinner of Champions!!'
Joe also posted a picture of the muscle Marys, together with sports trainer Ruben Tabares, which Mickey promptly retweeted.

Mickey, 59, is though to be in the UK for meetings regarding his role in the Gareth Thomas biopic.
Earlier this month, the Welsh rugby
star and former Celebrity Big Brother star tweeted: 'at least I can keep
tabs on you now;() can't wait to see you next week brother!!xx'
To which Mickey responded: 'We'll do Soho!'
Mickey, currently dating Russian model
Anastassija Makarenko, has further first-hand experience of the combat
sport, having trained for his Academy Award-nominated role in The

Cheeky: Joe proved to be the more immature of the trio, sticking his middle finger up to the camera
However, despite his varying talents, it hasn't been plain sailing for the 59-year-old.
Speaking of his surgeries, Mickey said: 'Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together.
'I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone.
'I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn't healing properly.
'That was one of the most painful operations, but the worst was haemorrhoids.'
What a Twit: Mickey apologises to online followers for not using Twitter much, saying he was filming in London
